The news reported that the two "teens" that were trying to start the fire at Kit Carson park are not found.

Apparently a skateboarder walked through the church or church yard then quickly took off on his skateboard and the church was engulfed 10 minutes later.

I have a feeling some of these are arson. To many, to soon!

I got my dogs in my car and went to our restaurant, which is north of the fires.
But first I drove around our neighborhood and alerted those who were out and about, about the evacuation orders.

Amazingly, no one knew! That's because, you need to sign up for these notifications...because they don't have access to your cell phone number unless you sign up!

Anyway our little restaurant got crazy busy, because people started gathering there, unexpected by us, but they'd been without power for days.

Hubby and I are exhausted. It's been like War of the Worlds in our backyard for days.
Crazy flying apparitions that I did not even know existed. Seriously. Huge flying dragon fly looking helicopters in many different shapes and forms. Huge planes of all sorts dropping fire retardent chemicals.

Both California and the US Military pulled out all the stops and brought in everything they've got.
I am beyond impressed! Thank God for these guys. I waved at the different air craft when outside. I know they saw me...heck they were so close.

I am SO thankful. They saved our community. They really did.

I also saw a tweet insinuating the possibility that the missing Cal Fire Battalion Chief wanted for murdering his fiance almost two weeks ago and is on the run as a possible suspect in the fires. The article didn't have much other than the murder & him being on the run.
