He could cut off the dreadlocks, not sure if the teeth are fixed or not.
In any event, a sudden change in his appearance to those he knows would be telling.

In this area of FL, mosquitoes are not very active during the night.

Accepting a ride from a stranger is never a good idea. Walking around at 9:30pm with a 2 year old isn't either.This abduction was COMPLETELY preventable and it makes me mad that a child was put in such peril.

Mom was knocked out for 4 hours from a punch to the head? Was she taken to the hospital? She needs medical attention ASAP. She must have a concussion from such a blow to the head as well as a swollen face, black eyes and a huge bruise. I do wonder how she knows he spells his name "Antwan". If someone told me that name, I would assume "Antoine" first. But, hey, what do I know?

The story doesn't sound right, but horrible things happen all the time.

Pray that this little fella is located, safe and unharmed.

Statewide Amber Alert Issued For Missing 2-Year Old : NorthEscambia.com

AMBER ALERT: Police said Jordan and his mother were walking on East Bay Drive near Belcher Road around 9:30 p.m. Saturday when they were offered a ride by an unknown man. Once in the vehicle, she told police she was hit in the face and lost consciousness.

According to the Amber Alert, the unidentified man is approximately 25 years old, has brown hair, brown eyes, wearing a white tank top and basketball shorts with an "AMD1" logo. He has dreadlocks and gold teeth and may go by the name Antwan.

They may be traveling in a white Toyota Camry.

AMBER Alert issued for missing 2-year-old boy in Largo

She and her son got into the man's car. When they were driving in the area of Lake Avenue and East Bay Drive, the mother said she and Antwan got into a fight and he punched her in the head.

She told police she woke up around 1 a.m. in a wooded area of Largo's Central Park and could not find her son.

Police conducted an extensive search of the park and could not find the boy.

Florida AMBER Alert issued for missing 2-year-old out of Largo

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) says that Jordan, who is about 2 feet 6 inches tall and 30 pounds, has short brown hair and brown eyes. He was reportedly last seen in the area of Lake Avenue and East Bay Drive wearing a blue shirt with '72' on the front, blue gym shorts with a black and white stripe, black socks, and black and white Nike sneakers. Jordan also has a partially healed cut on the underside of his chin and a birthmark on the right side of his stomach.

Well, there isn't any report yet that the mother was EATEN ALIVE, but I'm guessing not.
We may or may not find out about her physical condition. Probably not.
I, too, live 20 minutes away from this area of Largo and have lived in the area for decades.
The mosquitoes are wicked biting at dawn and dusk. In the summertime, we enjoy our outside patio in the evening starting about an hour after dark and there are no mosquitoes at that time.

Uh oh.
So mom was unconscious from somewhere before 10 pm until 1 am? IMO that's a very long time to be out and to me it's a red flag. Also, from msm reports the mother is claiming she didn't know "Antwan" before she accepted the ride from him so why on earth did they have an argument so intense that he would punch her in the head and render her unconscious for 3 hours? And why kidnap Jordan?

Stating the obvious but there has got to be more to this story. MOO.
