Did LE ever say WHY she was walking at night? I know she said she took a ride because Jordan was too heavy to carry, but WHY did she say she was out walking in a thunderstorm at 9PM?

Not that I think it even matters what she's said....I wish I was wrong!
I agree with you! I sent my best video from 8:58pm to the police. The same weather was seen north of Largo from another friend, so it wasn’t just my area. I almost took a photo of the radar and wish I had at this point.

I haven’t at all seen that Jordan was in foster care, only that there was a a custody hearing and he was poised to go to his father full time **if his mother wasn’t capable a full custody.** and is assume not after the last issue with her not wanting him to drop off poor sweetJordan too soon. Probably as described in a custody agreement. Moo. I’ve had close friends and family members in custody disputes and the only reason any of them have ever complained is the other parent bringing the child back late. Not blockading themselves in an apartment because their ex is back early with a child.

Im so glad WS doesn't allow psychics. The FB group was good earlier but has devolved into nothing but psychics spamming every post. There's a group of locals out searching a closed park, by a lake and trailer park at 2am because the mediums "felt" he was there. They're even trying to contact Largo PD to come with. Somebody is going to get seriously hurt because of this nonsense.

They prey on missing persons cases and it's disgusting, taking advantage of desparate family and friends.

I have 5 kids, 3-18, have had several normal childhood bumps and bruises over the years and the only time we ever have had any bloody clothes was after hunting successfully and the one time our second child ran headlong into a rubber coated metal bench while she was at preschool.
There could be an ordinary explanation as there are children (and adults) who have easier to bleed than others from smaller scratches and to have spontaneous nosebleeds, as well as getting briuses very easily by walking into something. I'm one of those, as a child I could get a nosebleed from sneezing when having a cold, and sometimes wake up with a bloody pillow. I still get bruises easily. Probably not a reason in this case, but blood and bruises doesn't always have to have a sinister explanation.

No Jordan yet?!? Oh I hoped to see good news before trying to sleep.

It is past time to turn up the heat

Holy CRAP.
That's just freaky.

From the presser I believe that they said that situation was so bad (bringing Jordan home too soon) that they had to use bullhorns to get the mom to come out.
That's seriously messed up.

If I went to drop my child off and their Dad didn't want them I'd turn around and leave. Screw that! I'm not leaving my kid if you don't even want them yet. I'm stunned that the cops would have left him there if they had to use freaking bullhorns to get her out as well.

Ok so just asking anyone else have random bloody items at home? I mean I know it’s possible add to that a missing child? Ok.

Jmo.

I'm pretty quick to soak bloody items in the washer but I can think of several reasons why they might be present.
Cut under chin - big bleeder.
Bloody nose - I actually got frequent bloody noses while pregnant, not uncommon.
Menstrual cycle - likely a non issue while pregnant.
Any pets? Our biggest blood bath here was a cat/dog fight.

wait, this says she's walking IN the park Search continues for missing toddler in Pinellas County Maj. Stephen Slaughter with Largo Police says the mother's story and injury check out. "We do have video that shows her walking in the park," Slaughter said.

I think this means they have video of her walking around INSIDE the park. I don't think they are saying they have video of her walking INTO or OUT OF the park. Just proof that she was indeed INSIDE the park.

Who takes their TWO YR OLD out for a walk at 9 pm?

In Arizona I took my little dude out that late a few times because that's when it was not 120 degrees. However, not during monsoon season. Also, in a very safe area and we didn't go far from home. Just walking around the block.

I did not like strollers I much preferred to wear him. Just felt more secure that way, nobody is going to grab him from me when he's attached to me!

Not that I think any of this applies to Jordan of course.

Where is Jordan?
We are not giving up. Just not.
Just like with Lonzie and Caylee and Lucas and every other precious child, this has got to be solved.
I share the suspicions. It's just what it is.
I am victim friendly always, but Jordan is the real victim in this.
Mom made it home apparently without much injury.
The sketch looks a whole lot like her.
What was she doing there in that storm?
I know Largo has a very small police department not used to this level of crime. But FDLE is involved. If it is a true kidnapping is the FBI CARD team on scene yet?
Just random thoughts this morning as we all wait on news that IMO is not going to be good news. :(
(Is this near enough to places that obviously hide little Haleigh Cummings to this day? I know there must be gators etc there. Certainly not in those ponds around the apartment complex...right? Could there have been someone who took Jordan away like in the Lonzie Barton case?)
Jordan please be safe.

There can be gators in the ponds around the apartment complex. It is very common, I don't know any complex that has a pond on it's property that doesn't have an alligator warning. We have a small pond at our complex that has signs all around.

Sounds like LE is trying to make sympathy excuse for the mother

I disagree with this. I was glad to hear him say those things as I think it's a sign that they'll be better able to interact with her and get more information from her as and when her psyche is willing to open up. Or that seems to be their hope that they can support her to that point. And in the meantime they keep searching for Jordan, but keeping the lines of communication open with her, showing care and understanding for her at this time, it might help them get information from her to assist them in the search for Jordan, which is paramount at this point in time.

Judgment can come later, the main thing now is to find Jordan.

Morning @AnaPisces , I know right?
Good Lord don't let this be a Lucas type case again....
It's just so outrageously bad.

Search resumes for missing Largo boy, and man who may have taken him

The 21-year-old woman — who Slaughter described as a "struggling single mother" and without work — told police she was struck by Antwan near East Bay Drive and Lake Avenue NE. When she woke up, police said she had minor bruises on her face and that she was seen on video walking around the park.

That video could be released today, Slaughter said.

Good morning my sweet. ... Are you having deja vu?... Remember feb/march being up early, coffee, donuts, me you and the others waiting on the thread for Lucas to be found? Making flyers with RMT and praying for some sort of miracle? How many times are we going to have to do this, chi? :(

Bullhorns? She really didn't want her kid that much?...

Hey, if anyone reading this doesn't want their kid that much, please contact me and I will let you know where I live to take care of them. If I hear about one more kid being killed with a sad background of being unwanted, I'm gonna lose my head.
Yes I know.
Dang it dang it dang it.
I want to see the video and I hope it is released today.

That baby was too heavy for her to carry so she got in the car late at night with a complete stranger?... I would literally carry my house on my head if it meant my baby was safe. That's not a good reason. But then again, it's also not what happened anyway.

@AnaPisces yes I remember the mornings, many of them outrageously early. We were hanging on for Lucas til we couldn't hang on any longer.
I don't know what the answer is. I cannot fathom any of this.
It just hurts so bad. And we take it personally like so many others do.

This is from the Largo PD FB (yesterday): Members of the Largo Police Department, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the regional Child Abduction and Response Team (CART), along with local partner agencies continue to search for Jordan Belliveau.
Largo Police Department

I just can't reconcile minor bruises and 4 hours unconscious. Does not compute.
