PALM BAY, Fla. Fire rescue said one person was shot Thursday in the parking lot of Eastern Florida State College in Palm Bay.
The shooting victim was taken to the hospital. The victim's condition is unknown.
Another person was hospitalized, but was not a shooting victim. That person's condition is unknown.
The names of the people involved have not been released.
The college posted the following alert on the homepage of its website: "Shooting reported in parking lot of Palm Bay Campus. Campus is locked down. Remain indoors, with doors locked until further notice
