It's an SUV I believe.

Not sure...now I see that one report that says pick up truck, others say car . ?

eta again...reporter on scene called the vehicle an SUV.
My SUV Is a Honda Pilot and it seats 8 people. 2 front seats, 3 in the middle and 3 in the 3rd row. Now the baby car seat clips are in the middle row. The 3rd row of seats would fit small adults or children not in car seats. It would be cramped.

Has the truck been towed? I had a friend that landed under the car during a wreak and no one noticed her until later after the car was towed away she was found.

This actually makes much more sense than putting 7 people (regardless of size/age) in a pickup truck

Are they saying that 7 people were in the pickup truck when it crashed? Of course the baby was not in a car seat!

looks like an SUV to me in the picture in first post

do trucks typically have the extra wheel on the back? I know a lot of SUV's do
there's an extra wheel visible in the footage

Officials: 6 injured, 1-year-old found dead after rollover crash on Alligator Alley

above video also shows 4 or so victims and I see an adult holding a child
I also see a (possibly injured) dog at 1:40 time marker
and then at least two children shown being stretchered and two or three adults
but none of these people look seriously injured (I would guess based on the condition of the vehicle that these people were wearing seatbelts)

They found a car seat per this reporters post.

Update: Broward Sheriff's Diver find 1 year old boy ejected from truck in a canal not far from truck. Unfortunately, the child died from his injuries. State troopers say while a car seat was found near the crash, they’re working to find out if the child was secured in it. WPLG Local 10

That’s the blowout. It’s a wonder it didn’t dislodge and roll into traffic.

ETA: a comment mentions tree branches above that tire. It still looks blown out just below the branches to me tho.

That extra wheel is mounted under the tailgate. I see the car seat sitting in the grass too. The baby was found in the canal. They didn’t say if he was in the car seat when he was found.

I hope they helped the dog too.
Very tragic.

I can easily fit 7 people in my pickup... just all depends on the style of them

If there we’re enough seatbelts it could work. Maybe the 2 Dads in front with the baby seat between them. The 2 Moms & 2 younger kids in back.

Ya know what? If there aren't enough seatbelts/seats, strap the kids in and YOU sit on someones lap. ( not directing this comment to you @PayrollNerd ) IMO

I agree. Years ago when the seat belt law was new, there were bumper stickers that said something to the effect “belt them in the car” referring to buckle up your kids.
