How about a picket line? A sit in?
Because it is not going to be a picket line or a sit-in. I have lived up close and personal to enough riots to know we are heading for more of them, imo.

On the previous thread, I posted something about the City Manager getting the Police to release the videotape of George arriving at the police station but on Tamron Hall they are saying it was the ceremonial elected Mayor who called for the release of the tape/s. I am not sure he has that power. Maybe the City Manager and the City Commission called for it. Doesn't really matter I guess. I am glad they were released before they got destroyed.
One can make a bad decision, even be an overt racist, without it causing a massive firestorm of racial... vitriol throughout the country. That was solely the responsibility of certain talking heads that decided to play a card and stir the pot. I feel there were other ways to seek justice without pushing those buttons. He sure did, he fired the shot that started this whole thing.
Sorry - I'm assuming they didn't as we don't see his hands bagged when he is brought in. The timeline - first on scene 7:17 and GZ is at the station at 7:52 - to me, unless it was done as one of the very first tasks on scene - it wasn't done.BBM - Link to proof that they didn't do this please? Or are you just assuming they didn't?
If George Zimmerman is not arrested in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin soon, the Rev. Al Sharpton will call for an escalation in peaceful civil disobedience and economic sanctions.
Sounds like Rev Sharpton is asking for RIOTS, imo.
"They may wind up getting sued and getting hit with hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees and damages," said Berger, who works with the South Florida law firm Katzman, Garfinkel and Berger. "Who will pay is every member of the association, and they will have to make special assessments. ... It's a cautionary tale for other associations."

Probably because it's severely impacting the ability for Zimmerman to have an impartial trial. The people that are seeing the media's version of events are all potential jurors who will assign guilt before going to trial. That's not how the system works.I wonder why now?

BASED on your post all black kids are suspect...But NO there are many black home owners in that community and it was not that GZ saw a black person NO...IF there were no previous robberies, I bet GZ would have just gotten his milk and gone home. Unless you think he is insane. PEOPLE DONT JUST SHOOT PEOPLE? unless they re nuts.
It was because there were 8 robberies that they CLAIM was done all by black people who did not live their.
GZ saw someone in the rain, (when most everyone stays in) who did not live there and he happens to also look like what they suspect the other robberies to have been caused by.
Sad but I do NOT believe dad's hearsay story at all, now a brother comes forward KNOWING (NOT) another hearsay story..........
I'm beginning to think that the "Z" family unit may have serious problems with story telling.
I would like to see also if GZ ever had a 'mental or emotional' problem. JMOO
He sure did, he fired the shot that started this whole thing.
(respectfully snipped)
Bruises stay after death.
Remember that Zimmerman is saying that Trayvon tumbled around and slammed his head into the sidewalk, so Zimmerman would have probably grabbed his hands at some point to make him stop.
If that ever really happened...

JMHO
He got it started but it could of ended if the right procedure was followed. You wouldn't of even heard of this story if that was the case.
Wonder what the coroner's report says versus what the family hired funeral director says. The coroner did have the body first and I am sure cleaned it up some.[/quote]
I'm catching up from VERY early this am (how come nobody else was here @ 3:30 EST? :what:?) and just feel the need to clarify this statement (BBM).
The decedent body leaves the ME's office AFTER the forensic pathologist completes the very detailed post mortem examination (autopsy) AND AFTER the body is returned to "hospital discharge condition", that is sewn up, washed and placed into a clean body bag, frequently provided by the funeral home (won't go into reasons why but....).
Part of the external examination is OBSERVATION of the decedent: UP CLOSE & PERSONAL, both clothing & body, dressed & undressed. (Oh yeah, DOCUMENTATION is made....heck there are even standardized forms!). AFTER evaluating the body in toto, TRACE materials from ANYWHERE on or in the decedent may be removed for analytical evaluation. Once on the table, the body is washed (okay, rinsed down) to remove "contaminating" materials prior to the Y incision (standard method of opening the decedent) for the internal examination.
And............as usual I'm "lecturing" :banghead::banghead:
Anyhow....decedents are clean when they leave the ME's office!
BBM NOP...NOP...NOP...I'm a white female who sometimes puts my hood up when it's cold and rainey. All the racism in this whole case is truly disheartening. GZ put the whole who movement back about 60 years. I thought we had moved forward and wouldn't discriminate anymore. I'm saddened by all this tragedy. Trayvon is the victim. He's Dead. GZ isn't. Why would a neighborhood watch person carry a 9 mm gun and call 911 (as he had done many times before) and follow/pursue when LE told GZ NOT TO? Ego-trip maybe?
And why doesn't GZ have any signs of being in a conflict? Stand your ground? Me thinks not. Why is GZ in hiding? Just shows he's not much of a "man" unless he has a gun in his hands. Trayvon is dead. GZ is not.
Could GZ just be a coward?
While I do not or cannot condone violence of any sort not to mention the fact that both of Trayvon's parents have said the same thing, I will say, IMO, that I can't blame them. This has been going on a month too long and it's clear that Zimmerman needed to have been locked the night of the murder, not a month later. He needs to be in jail right now.

BBM. My question is: What if the bruises didn't have time to form? Does anyone know if bruises can form after death?
I have seen many innocent children die here in Southern California because of local gangs having shoot outs in the street. NOTHING is done by Rev Al or Rev Jesse to call these thugs out for THOSE murders. Nobody riots when those innocent babies and children and bystanders are killed. Nobody blinks an eye when a blackshoots another black
.
But this white man shoots a black teen and now we are going to have national riots?
