A 4-year-old girl is in the hospital with first- and second-degree burns to 25 percent of her body and her mother is in jail facing child neglect charges after authorities say the woman left the girl and her 6-year-old sister home alone.

This woman knew better then this! That is why she originally lied and said she had left the 2 girls with adults. And not only that she left a lighter within reach knowing that these children had been playing with fire not too long before this happened! :banghead:

Poor little girl that has to be so painful. Thank goodness they got out of the apaprtment.

Yeah, way to go, Ma. Makes one wonder just where she had to go was so important to leave those children all alone?
