Teenager accused of killing 6 people in crash in Delray Beach

This happened not far from where I live. I saw wreckage the next day. A group of 6 workers were carpooling home from a local farm and vegetable packing facility named Pero Farms. Their Nissan Rogue was struck from behind at 151 mph by a BMW driven by a teen, Noah Galle, who apparently raced on local roads on a regular basis. All 6 workers died. Galle is charged with 6 counts of vehicular homicide. Galle's family is extremely wealthy, and his father is an attorney. Right now, Galle is at home, and local people wonder whether his wealth will enable him to escape justice. 151 mph = 243 kmh

Ah, I believe we know where the defense is headed:

Liz Parker, Galle's attorney, also said the teenager has been on psychiatric medication since he was 12.

Galle’s attorney also said the teenager had “unusual medical conditions" his defense believes contributed to the accident, but she didn’t elaborate on what those conditions are.

But, this is difficult evidence to ignore:

Someone reached out to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office with information relating to Galle, and shared that on his Instagram and TikTok, he had shared several videos and photos of him "driving at extremely high rates of speed" and then would ask people to guess the rate for $25 on cash app.


A search warrant was issued for the social media accounts. Deputies said the handle for Galle's Instagram account was also put on the rear windows of the driver and passenger sides of his vehicle.

At least this (alleged) killer is now incarcerated, Florida is a safer place.

The families of the deceased should consider Wrongful Death civil suits after the criminal trials are complete.

Total disregard for human life plus entitlement attitude with parents supplying and providing access to a vehicle that he advertised on social media operating repeatedly in a dangerous and illegal activity?

Yes, FL has the death penalty. But the death penalty won't apply to this Delray Beach criminal case.

A case I'm following near me. . .
Tampa neurosurgeon faces max 15 years in prison for crashing his speeding Tesla into bicycling victim who was dismembered in the crash. Thus far, doctor defendant seems to be granted many court favors. :rolleyes:

I believe Pero Farms, the employer of the 6 victims, has multiple shifts, and that the victims left their workplace at night, probably close to 10:30 PM. They might have gone to a gas station not too far south of their workplace - the gas station is a Wawa with competitive pricing and refreshments - and then proceeded northbound. That might account for the location of the incident, which took place about a mile north of the gas station, but south of their workplace. I've observed workers leaving the company facility late at night, as I don't live far from the scene. The company supplies vegetables to a lot of supermarkets, and is a large operation. The company packages a lot of its products for retail sales. The road where the incident took place has roadway lamps in the vicinity of the impact; it's US Route 441, a highway that runs from Miami to Tennessee. It has 2 lanes in each direction in the area, with a wide grassy median. Maximum speed is 55 mph in most segments. There are reflectors on the lane stripes, and the road is in very good condition - the impact area was repaved last year.

Both drivers were northbound at the time of the incident, and the victims were in the right lane. Galle rear ended the victims' vehicle with tremendous impact. The victims' vehicle was driving straight ahead, and did nothing to precipitate the incident. As I drive on the same road quite often, past the same location, I think about the incident when I pass the impact zone. I think of the victims, and how they lost their lives. Since Galle used this road as his personal speedway, anyone who had the misfortune to be in his path could have had their lives ended in the same way.

To answer the op, when does wealth and status not have an influence on how justice is served? We are already seeing that in action if he is out of jail on this.

After arguments on both sides, Palm Beach County Juvenile Court Judge Cymonie Rowe sided with the prosecution, ordering Galle to stay in juvenile detention while he awaited his case being transferred to an adult criminal court.

He may be incarcerated. (Too little, too late, perhaps?)

The weather that night was cool and clear, no precipitation. I'd been out a little earlier in the same area. The road is fairly flat - on a clear day I can see for at least a couple of miles. West Palm Beach, FL Weather History | Weather Underground

There's just no excuse for this incident.

what an idiot!probably get 5 to 3 years in prison followed by house arrest for a couple more year's then get his record cleared when finished.

Are the following two excerpts from that article about the convicted Noah Galle:

“Investigators said he was driving a BMW 151 mph when he rear-ended an SUV, killing six farmworkers.

According to Galle's arrest report, he had previously posted on social media videos of himself speeding and offered a $25 reward for those who could guess his speed.”

One would hope that future jail and parole officials do not lose sight of that information. 151 mph……. and bragging on social media site for a reward to guess the speed. SMH. RIP for the victims. MOO
