wanttohelp- I may be getting my Cedrics mixed up. In one of DM's posts, she mentioned a car repo, IIRC. I have to go back and reread.

One of the loans mentioned have to do with ED- not a Cedric.

I can't find the car repo thing I was looking for, but may not be reading closely enough.

Front page of my newspaper this morning (St. Petersburg Times) the whole sorid story. It's not online though :( sometimes it posts online later in the day. I guess DM doesnt need to write the book now.

The story basically goes through everyone he gave money to. How DM met Abraham (she was still in a wheelchair). How she was trying to help him buy purchasing EVERYTHING under her company name, his criminal record, her criminal record etc.

Okay breakdown, First thing that happened was IRS took 9,000 for back childsupport. He then put 1 mil in a trust fund for his son. He gave his stepfather 1 mil. He gave his 3 step sisters 250,000 each. Paid off $185,000 mrtg for a friend. Paid 80,000 for another friend on a mrtg. He paid $53,000 off on a mrtg for a man he didnt know the last name of.

He bought a $125,000 house and rented it out. He gave his brother's son's bf $40,000. He gave his mother $12,000 (pathetic) and his sister 10,000. He gave numberous Wachovia cashiers checks to friends and paid for numberous funerals.

For himself he bought a 2006 F-150 p/u truck, a 2007 BMW 750-I, and the house on Red Hawk. This was ALL before he was sued by Michael Ford.

(summerization of text from the St. Petersburg Times)

Sleuthster, if it goes online, would you post a link?

Is there any indication what they think happened?

Thanks!

Okay, it probably is just me, but I have not read this article before.
I have been following this case since the news broke about Abraham S., ...
I will chalk it up to brain fog and too much time on the forums.

But, not only is the supposed text message interesting, but
following a kind of assumed logic:
Abraham texts his son's mother, 'get a passport for him.
1. Abraham plans to go out of the country.
2. Abraham assumes he will take his 8 yr old son with him.
3. Supposedly by now this time, he is broke. How will he finance living outside the US?
As far as I can tell, the boy's mother has custody of him. Is she going to let her 8 yr old go off to another country? I do not think so.
Abraham has lived in the same area all his life, has his family, his lifestyle, etc.
Is he going to leave the country? I don't think so.

And do illiterate people text? (I realize when sometimes reading one's texts, you would swear they were illiterate)

They summed it up with he either disapeared on his own accord or was a victim of foul play. Sheriff Grady Judd said that they think foul play is possible.

They also went into details about Abraham. The story starts out " On Nov. 15, 2006 Shakespeare was 41 years old, had $5 in his wallet and was making eight bucks an hour. He had no car, no drivers licesne, no credit card. He had grown up in Lake Wales and spent time in homes for Juvenile delinquents. He could read and write, but not much. He had a long criminal record. Mostly he loitered, he drove when he wasn't allowed to drive, he stole, he hit people, and later he didn't pay for the children he fathered. He went to prison twice. After he got out in 1995 he lived with his mother..."

So the news paper seems to portrait him as someone that was an undesirable and got lucky, got taken advantage of by his generousity, and then either took off or was murdered.

BTW, the head line is "Fed up? Or was it Foul Play?"

lol. And they have degrees from real universities lol.

I have to add...I once knew a has been old science fiction writer (somewhat famous in his time) drank too much and wrote too little in the end. He told me that I should give up my dreams of writing because SPJC is not a REAL college and real writers goe to real colleges lol. So..I guess we have surmised the same 2 outcomes of Abraham that the SP Times writers did.

That's interesting. If you look at all the transactions involving Abraham Shakespeare....all in January. Then Shakespeare and Associates take over. They don't need his signature. Are the movies for dating or business?

It looks like a combination of the two. The umbrella site is for modeling.
