There is another odd factor in this accident. The original article, I've posted the link in my post, states Dee as being 22 in 2005. That's why we were doubtful as to the connection until Dee posted that the newspaper got it wrong. It was her and the Ledger made a typo as to her age.

Not saying much since most lawyers here in Florida seem to do personal injury, but yes. According to his bio:

So, did they know each other before the accident, or after?

You guys know my theory.. Someone smarter than DM tought her these tricks.. Pulled her out of a ditch, so to speak. My bets are on Stitzel right now.

I'm looking at a flurry of activity after an unknown point of time, and maybe a chain reaction.

He does a lot of varied cases. Petty crimes, felonies, drug offenses, etc. Some civil, but not much. Lots of his clients were arrested for weapons charges, etc.

Edit: I'm snowed in through tomorrow with nothing else to do, I'd be glad to do the coding and constructing of a basic website...if I can get a volunteer to help me dig out all the links in the 3 threads, and if we could find somewhere to host it (free webspace perhaps?).

Ooh but I bet where you are you've got even more than we do! Here in my part of VA we got 8-10 inches overnight, which is more than we have seen in years...but that much has thrown everything out of whack here. I'm content just to sit back and wait in the warmth....I've got my notebook, my Christmas movies, my Slanket (the original Snuggie), a cup of hot cocoa, and my two doggies. :dance:

Two people died Sunday night after their car collided with a Hummer near Polk City, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

KD, 17, was driving his 2000 Pontiac Sunfire south on State Road 33 about 11 p.m. when he crossed into northbound traffic and collided with a 2003 Hummer driven by Dorice Moore, said sheriff's spokeswoman Michal Shanley.

KD's passenger, SE, 23, of Polk City died Sunday. KD, also of Polk City, died Monday.

Moore suffered non-lifethreatening injuries, Shanley said.

I don't want to say what I'm thinking but ... beyond the obvious scam we all no doubt see here, there is this other thing scammers have been known to do in terms of 'staging' car accidents
