LLC = license to steal for those so inclined. JMO.
In my state (not Florida), one has to have an Operating Agreement that spells out the ownership structure (peoplewise) of the business to form an LLC. You don't have to submit a copy of the OA in order to file for LLC status, but you do have to have an OA to open a checking account in the name of the LLC.
The Registered Agent doesn't have to be a member of the LLC. It can be an attorney, for instance. Not all of the owner's names have to be listed on the LLC filing either- only one Officer.
Crooks can and will enter into an LLC with someone to get their hands on LLC funds, and the OA can actually help a crook avoid punishment because disagreements between "business partners" are civil cases, not criminal.
That means that in my state, I can enter into a LLC with someone, open an LLC checking account with both our names on it, and, if the other person takes all the money without my knowledge or consent, my only recourse is filing a civil lawsuit.
I have been told by LE that white collar crime is a very difficult area for them to prosecute. So very often, their hands are tied and it can months or years to build a case against someone who steals this way regularly.
ETA: I hope and pray Abraham is alive.

this may be stated on the next page, but she recieved access to the account by replacing the plantiff in another case, and as I pointed out i didnt understand why that case had been reopened because it had appeared settled to me.

On 10/26/09, there was an Amended Order Allowing Substitution of the Parties.
The Order is for Dee Dee Moore to be substituted as the Plaintiff in place of VALENTI CAMPBELL TROHN TAMAYO & ARRANDA for the Judgement for $21,327.06 plus 11% interest per annum found in Book 7768, Page 1654 on. That is a far cry from the million dollars that they are saying she transferred from his account to hers.

oh, I'm sorry. Your assuming she was honest and took the amount of the judgement. I was under the impression
1-that case had been settled so whatever she was taking she was stealing.
2-it granted access to the account AND a safety deposit box that for all we know had money or info to another account which perhaps is why she wanted this judgement.
all the above and the fact it was stated the transaction was AFTER April, which this was.
did you get my info on that transaction with Smith/ Lewis. Lots of info there just too much for me to do all the work expanding on it. IMO investigating more on that and its expansion could reveal alot.

According to investigators, Moore assisted Shakespeare with opening a limited liability: Abraham Shakespeare, LLC, and then gave herself complete signing authority.
With that authority, she gave herself $1,000,000, detectives said. They say Moore told them Shakespeare was aware of this, and that he gave this money to her as a gift. Detectives say she has used the money to purchase a Hummer, a Corvette, a truck, and went on lavish vacations.
"It's nice to buy a new Corvette, a Hummer, a new truck," Judd said. "It's nice to take vacations, to account for some of the money that she spent."
The sheriff's office says Moore now has an attorney, and is no longer talking to them.
When contacted by FOX 13 to respond to these allegations, a representative for Moore said they were not willing to do interviews at this time.

ACR thank you so much. This took a lot of work. I know many posters (myself included) really appreciate what you do for us.
I appreciate that too. But can I ask what is going on Tricia with continually pointing our CandyRose in this thread? I know myself and others have posted HOURs worth of research in these threads. Do you know how long it took me to write out the transaction on the Miller property? About 3 hours. Other posters collected all Dee's post a few pages back for Investigating. I'm not saying members should not be praised, just what is going out with your interest in only Candyrose?
