Attorney Howard Stitzel doesn't work or live in house where he placed his attorney sign. The hanging shingle with a phone number missing the area code and ending in AMP (American Medical Professionals).

Howard goes home at night to his house at 4205 W Keysville Rd, Plant City (he's listed as sole owner/property tax records are sent to this address in his name).

He goes to work at 206 N Collins St in Plant City. Stitzel and Byrd did transfered the property deed of their law practice to the Stitzel Property Group a few months ago. Hillsborough Property Records confirm this.

Yes, I know about 206 Collins... I'm establishing something here though... Byrd, Barnhill and Stitzel musical chairs... Stitzle was with Byrd... Barnhill with Byrd... Stitzel with...

THIS is what I think at this point: I heard somewhere that Stitzel left Byrd in January 2009, I think it was. I think that the dealings between Stitzel, DM & AS got to be such that Byrd began smelling the stink in the air and that was it. He was done. This is only an assumption of mine. I do know that Byrd handled at least one mortgage transaction in this mess. Maybe that's what made him privy to the fact that something weird and not normal was going on in this whole thing.
Who knows....I like to play Private Detective, but it's only for fun....I do not really profess to know what I'm doing LOL

The other day the police let Howard Stitzel into the house on State Road 60 to get some of his work files out of there. That would seem to imply that he was working there. A phone call was made to the phone number on the sign awhile back. The person answered it as Howard Stitzel's law office. Howard Stitzel lists that address as his on the Bar site. Byrd's name is listed as the one who transferred the Quit Claim deed from Shakespeare to Dee Moore's company. But it does appear that at that point or shortly thereafter, Howard took over and they parted ways.
Just went back and looked at the paperwork. House was transferred by Quit Claim Deed which said it was prepared by on 1/9/09 Johnnie B Byrd, Jr., Byrd & Stitzel, PA, 206 North Collins Street, Plant City, FL 33563 813-759-1224. Johnnie Byrd will have to answer to how he transferred a house that the court records say Dee Moore paid over $600,000 for when the Sheriff said they couldn't see where she had that kind of money. Johnnie Byrd did not sign that document so it is possible someone else actually did the deed and that is why the split.
Assignments were prepared by D. Howard Stitzel III, 607 S Alexander Street, Suite 205 S, Plant City, Florida 33563 on 1/16/09. So it would appear that just a week after the deed was executed and just 3 days after it was filed, Howard is operating out of a new address.

FINALLY some news, albeit nothing earth shattering. Hillsborough LE is meeting with Polk LE & the State's Attorney's office tomorrow. I think the lid is about to blow off the can here folks. My guess is they are going to compare notes and see what kind of charges they are going to list and on who. Then, we're going to see some action.

I'll try my best to catch the noon news and give you all an update if I can. I'm not sure how much you guys hear out of the viewing area.....and I know here, we only hear BLURBS....usually no more than 10 seconds or so!!!!!

At the time he had said that, the only lawyer who was in the media was Howard Stitzel who said he spoke to Abraham in October 2009, 3 months ago, and Abraham was fine. Since Abraham was found underneath a cement slab that the media said was laid 6 months ago, I'm assuming he was referring to Stitzel. It would appear that he is not the only lawyer who has taken advantage of Abraham from what was unearthed here, but he was the one saying he was the last one to talk to Abraham.

I was so confused by his statement...so much can be read into it. I thought someone was wondering what happened to all his money...and I interpreted the statement as perhaps the attorney who represented AS in his lawsuit in 2007 got a huge chunk of it. Now I'm even more confused.

* Push Stitzel's hair up further from his forehead, smooth it down flat.
* Lessen Barnhill's beard, or add to Stitzel's.
* If Stitzel smiles, nose and cheeks becomes more like Barnhill.
* Take smile off Barnhill and it brings down his nose and cheeks.
* Hairlines/shapes on sides of their heads are alike/very much the same.
* Have yet to find a pic where Stitzel smiles and shows any teeth.
* Unlike other attorney's I saw, these 2 have VERY few pics anywhere! Any the ones they have are repeats of these.
* Compare numbers of cases
* 2 ARE 1

But I'll be happy to go over to his office and ask to speak to Mr. Barnhill. No problem with that whatsoever. I'm local. It will have to be on Friday as I work 10 hour days in Tampa.
I'm more than happy to admit they look a lot alike. They may even be related, who knows? But I do not believe they are the same person.
What is Barnhill's first name? I forgot it.
Channel 9 News is showing that video we have been watching forever. They are showing it now.

Just poking my head in the door, to say that I am blown away by all the information you all have uncovered, along with your hard work and dedication.

I wish Abraham would have been as fortunate in life to have people such as yourselves looking out for him, as he has now that he has passed. If he is somewhere looking down on all this, I have no doubt his spirit is warmed by the compassion of my fellow Websleuths, striving to bring him justice.

Howard Stitzel's parents were both killed in an accident here in Florida a few years back. I believe they were buried up in a northern state.
David H. Barnhill's parents would appear to be Davis A. Barnhill and Susan H. Barnhill, who state that their son is David H Barnhill of 602 E Alexander Street, Plant City, Florida 33566 and his sister is Elizabeth Warner of San Francisco, CA.
