Something that’s makes you cry so hard your stomach hurts. So I don't know what I have ever done in my life to deserve this much torture, but God please forgive me now. I stayed in my house feeling sorry for myself for about two months then realized I needed to put it behind me. I went back to work and rebuilt what I had. I got so busy again into work and trying to help everyone I got slowed down again. I was in the car accident that put me in a wheel chair. That was me on Hwy 33 in my other Hummer. I guess they just got my age wrong.


The other driver was at fault and hit me head on. The boy had no insurance and after finding out his mom and dad was separated and did not have a lot of money. I never tried to sue them. I felt like them losing their son was enough for one family to endure and it was not their fault to have to pay for their sons mistakes. My right femur bone was crushed and they tried to sign me up for complete disability. Something I refused to do.I was not going to live off the system and other people when I was able to contribute myself. I learned to scuba dive and rebuild my muscle tone. I had started my company and I stayed on the phones all the time. For three years (24 hours a day) I was on the phones building my company until I let others start running it for me. Now it’s been running without me for the last two years. In that time I trained people to provide CPR, ACLS, and PALS to save peoples’ lives. I traveled and started pilot training. I helped people through rehab and even took in the homeless three times. I had a full life with plenty of money before Abraham Shakespeare. To my friends, you will never change who I am as a person. They keep reading this web site and calling praying for me. It’s sad we live in a world where all we mark down are the strikes against a person not their achievements and the lives they have saved.

Actually, I don't think it's intelligence DM lacked... I will admit I really do have some cognitive impairment (caused by vasculitis and inflammation and scarring due to cns lupus and seizure disorder etc) and #ell I can't understand a fraction of her scams and schemes! At certain points in this case I had to take a breather because my brain was exploding. So I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box but I'd say no it wasn't a brain deficit, it was wisdom--skills for living--and a conscience that were missing. And in the end it was her own insatiable greed and treachery that ultimately did her in IMO.

...i'm really having a hard time with Cedric Edmond story...you know , you know right from wrong...you were wrong cedric stand up to the plate and take like a man...don't do this fishing thing...when u accepted the $5,000.00, that voice that talks to you sometime..said..you know this is wrong...this is your cousin you are talking about...but cedrick you didn't listen to that voice, did you...if DM told you to put the gun to your head and pull the trigger..would you...life is about choices.....you don't look like the kind of man to be fearful of no one...sorry i'm not buying your story...tell it all brother...tell it all...it will come out...ask DM...it will all come out....but remember this...you will have to live with yourself...and if you and God is alright with it...to heck with what anyone else says...you and God..that's it bottom line, case closed...

I worked at a school with mentally handicapped teenagers. One night 4 or 5 broke into the school and sprayed paint on many of the walls. The school pressed charges. The judge sent them to javi for 3 months. He said they were smart enough to think up a plan and do the deed even though they were "retarded" ( word he used back in the mid 70's). So even if she does have "brain damage" it doesn't excuse what she did. Many mildly retarded people get sent to prison. John Couey (sp?) comes to mind.

Yes kiki... I agree... and Ms Walker said something so true... something like why are crazy people so damn smart...

My last unexpected surgery couldn't have been timed any better... the breather was needed. I still couldn't stay away... but I limited what I did.

I can relate to "cognitive impairment"... I've been re-learning how to live all over again the past few years... had rare siezure's (from a surgical induced metabolic bone disease) back-to-back for almost 3 years straight... actually had to learn how to go get groceries all over again... at times all I could do was cry... it was hard to ask for help... one of my kids actually took me by the hand and walked me through (and many other ordinary living tasks) it one step one item at a time. Then, it started to go from a tears and a heart wrenching experience... to laughter and a fun adventure. Still, I go where the people know where I've come from. Oddly enough, yet not at all, my journey with Abraham Shakespeare is perfect timing... in that it gave me a focus outside of the medical world/research that I'm deeply involved in. WS, and this case, has taught me more than I can ever imagine having learned in a short time... to focus, to piece together, to stay determined and not give up, to use other areas of the computer and internet world, memory skills... and finally, against what the medical world told me... finally more cognitive stuff is/has returned! I was told that the damage was more than likely permanent... which would have been ok... but this is cool too! Purpose!

In reference to the part that I put in bold... that's the problem... she could now create a story of how "he was involved"... and with her history of "stories", it would hold nothing. Yes, he did some wrong... no doubt there... but the threats held over his head were rather intense too... so he maybe had no clue what she was doing... keeping in mind the extent that she goes to, there could be lots more to the threats held over him... not sure... wish we could get more info about his involvement... she had created story upon story and lie upon lie... I'd imagine that it was so twisted that perhaps he was spinning with confusion... one minute what she was saying may have sounded plausible... the next total doubt... the next ok maybe...

Yep... Cedric Edom... another victim of DM's manipulation... involved to what extent?

They are her parents. They are grasping for straws. She even had one of the people linked with her use their address at one point. Saw that on one of the older posts, earlier thread.
If Dorice is not corrupting someone she knows, then she is trying to con them. Corrupting the policeman, using her Abraham, her son, her ex-husband and her parents.
I still want to know how Howard Stitzel speaks to the dead. Pretty good trick.
And I don't think she is so smart. She is in jail, after all. I think she thinks she is so smart, but as soon as someone starts asking questions, it becomes very apparent she is not the brightest bulb in the box.

You are very right Susan. Even when I knew them way back when...she didn't seem very intelligent. She speaks much better now than she did years before....I mean, "seems" smarter than she did years back.
But you are right.....she can't be too smart, just for the fact she spoke to the media without any advice from an attorney.
