It was interesting being in the courtroom. Even got to meet Dave Clark, very nice Polk County deputy. Got to see Ms. Walker's testimony. But when I got home and found it online, I got to see more on the livestream than I got to see in the Courtroom. Only thing I did get to see that I could not see online was the jury. I wasn't sure if it would be online when I left so I took notes, about 6 pages. But I came back and found y'all took better notes.
If it is online tomorrow, I may stay home. There were very few people in the courtroom. Did anyone notice how many people were watching online? Yesterday it was over 600 people.

Susan, I bet it was interesting being there. You along with so many others have contributed so much to this case.
Personally, I would love to see your notes even if it's the "Cliff" version as you are concise and to the point in your delivery. It's always interesting to see different points of view.

I'm still surprised to learn that so few are in the courtroom, but in some way DDM would relish way too much in the lime light imo. Could you tell if Court TV was there? I'm hoping they hold up to their word that they are indeed covering the trial as I'm unable to watch online for various reasons. ( personally I don't know how many were viewing)

I believe it is In Session that is recording the trial for viewing at a later date. That is what the guard said when I asked him. I'm staying home and watching it here tomorrow if it is livestreamed again. I wish they would take all the livestream and put the whole thing in a DVD format.
ACandyRose did an awesome job with the notes and I could not do it any better than she did. She is far more organized than I am. If you go over to her site on Abraham Shakespeare, it is everything you need to know all placed in order so you can find it easily.
I agree with you that it is probably better that there are so few in the courtroom to take away her 15 minutes of infamy. I hadn't thought of that. I haven't seen her mother or father there, but they are most likely going to be called as witnesses and the witnesses are not allowed in the Courtroom until the trial is over unless they are testifying, with the exception of Ms. Walker. They let her stay after she testified.
I wish you were able to view the livestream. It really is better than being there. You can actually see more through the camera.
Starts again at 8:30am so I'm off to bed. Long day.

So is she still doing her facial rodeo today?

I guess so!

Deputy: Moore took over lottery winner's bank account before slaying

Judge Emmett Battles interrupted testimony and recessed court just before noon so he could chastise Moore for her facial expressions from the defense table, which he described as her effort "to speak from that table rather than from the witness stand."

"It is not in your best interest," Battles said.

During the break, Moore's attorneys told her to tone down her facial expressions and reactions to testimony or risk being removed from the courtroom. She has been communicating with attorneys and getting animated.

Coldpizza, I just love your description!!! Facial rodeo - great description!

I just finished catching up on all of the trial vids posted online and had to take something for a major headache! That woman is a real piece of work. She even had a detective cursing during a taped interview. That poor detective was on the stand and had to listen to all that BS and when the camera would cut to him you could see his chest heaving! He was highly pizzed all over again.

I was on the thread when Dee Dee Moore was posting. Anyone could tell she was a nutjob even then, but we had to be nice (and we were).

My heart just broke for Ms. Walker on the stand today. You could just tell that she is such a decent and good person. She loved(s) Abraham so much.

I cannot wait to see what theatrics await us tomorrow! There'd better be a guilty verdict in this one. Isn't the trial supposed to last two weeks? Better make sure to get my blood pressure pills refilled on time! I may have to double up on them!

Jezzz of course I meant In Session, dating myself. I'm glad Ms. Walker got to stay, how difficult this has been for her and I hope she has Peace in her memory of Abraham despite the greedy acts of this ......

Agree about http://www.acandyrose.com, I have referenced it many a time. Her undeniable work on so many cases leaves me in awe.

(put the bug in DH's ear for us to go on monday lol) doubt it but ya never know. He secretly follows these cases too, shhhhh

Please feel free to add any of your own personal notes you observe even if they're duplicates. It's good to have many eyes and ears. :-)

Thank you for letting us know that In Session was there even if they were only taping. I was beginning to think they were pulling our leg that they were going to cover the trial. They just failed to say they weren't covering it LIVE but recording it. :banghead:

And yesterday, last I looked, there about 170 online for the live stream at one point. I'm sure there would have been more (like the 600+ on Wednesday) had TampaBay been online streaming at the start of the court day. But thanks to your phone calls they did get online.

Luckily, a lot of people were evidentally calling. I guess an onslaught of calls gets their attention.
Right now, I'm going over some of the tape I missed.

IIRC, there were 200 or so watching most of the time. The numbers went down near dinner time on the east coast. Let's hope that yesterday was a busy day for them and they thought we wouldn't notice the lack of coverage!

Since they are storing the videos for us to watch later, let's hope they continue!

I'm seriously considering taking some aspirin prior to testimony today since they still haven't completed the "controlled call" with Cedric.

Logged into the stream as the 18th viewer. Lets see how many we get to by 8.30am.

I just bumped the Abraham Shakespeare thread on City-Data in the hopes to draw more viewers from that site. Gave them the link to the trials. Guess I'll hop around seeing if I can find more sites with Abraham and see if they also need info. Currently I'm the 26th viewer on the trial site. Hopefully that will go up alot and hopefully they will continue to cover it.

33 viewers and it is back on.

They're live at tampabay.com!

Pale pinky mauve blouse today.

34 viewers.

:great: We're up to 34 and there is a feed up of DDM in court.

ETA: Didn't notice! LOL! Mauve!

Ooh, she's crying and whining!

  • #775
Roll call, LOL!

Today should be interesting!

I posted the link to this Websleuths thread over on the In Session Shakespeare "event thread" for anybody over there that might be wondering why In Session doesn't have it on live stream and might want to watch the trial in progress. :-)

I'll keep posting on my Twitter and hopefully that will draw in some viewers also.

I've followed this case since the beginning and realize there are so many more witnesses to hear and much more evidence than we have heard. Can they really finish in 2 weeks?

I want to hear from Judy Hagins (sp?), Cedric, Gregory Smith, Shar, and the lawyer Stintson (sp?). Wonder if any of them will be called? There are so many more people whose name I cannot recall right off the bat. Is there a witness list published anywhere? TIA.

Posted it to my Facebook, but since I quit playing Gardens of Time my friends dropped from over 200 to about 15 friends.
They are not punctual at 8:30am and there are now 55 viewers. I wonder if a jury member got caught in traffic again. Rush hour traffic is bad in Tampa.

I was looking for one as well and could not find it. However, this is a high profile case on the Hillsborough County Clerk's site and some of the documents are posted there. At least one subpoena they sent to Shar was unserved. You could go through there list of subpoenas. It might give you an idea of who was served and who wasn't, although I don't think the list could possibly be complete.
They had more than 3 binders of evidence and at the pace it is going, 2 weeks seems very optomistic to me.
