Gah! Delay for Dee Dee's ankles!

*ETA: Actually they are waiting for the doctor to come speak with Dee Dee right now. Seems she was alergic to some meds she was given last night for a kidney infection and her tongue swelled really badly and she is talking funny. DRAMA!

She really thought she would get out of wearing her legirons. Nope. If it is not the legirons, it will be a leg bar, or the judge said she could wear extra socks. Legirons are like big handcuffs with an approximately 1 foot long chain between the cuffs that will allow walking. The leg bar the judge was talking about is essentially big cuffs with a bar extended between the ankles and a chain going to the waist. That would be worse and she would have the leather belt type restraint.

Good luck, Dee Dee. She needs to realize that inmates who are in on a murder charge are not coddled and catered to as to comfort.

Already???

Can she cause a mistrial with this skunk dung?

I really don't know, but the judge can have her banned from the courtroom if her behavior continues. It's been done in other cases.

In this case, the jury isn't in yet, so, no harm, no foul.

I've followed this case since the beginning and realize there are so many more witnesses to hear and much more evidence than we have heard. Can they really finish in 2 weeks?

I want to hear from Judy Hagins (sp?), Cedric, Gregory Smith, Shar, and the lawyer Stintson (sp?). Wonder if any of them will be called? There are so many more people whose name I cannot recall right off the bat. Is there a witness list published anywhere? TIA.

I don't know if this has been updated but this was one of the discovery documents showing the witness list as of July 2010. I removed the address of personal individuals because of posting here on Websleuths. Hope this list helps and might explain why there are not as many people in the court room probably because they're on the witness list.

Mods... you're welcome to edit anything you feel shouldn't be here on the forum. :-)

The camera had cut to Dee Dee's ankles either yesterday or the day before and it showed her white socks (thin) and black flats. She was sitting with her ankles crossed. The cuts are her own fault, IMO. I've seen it a million times. Having your ankles crossed with legirons on will cause what she is complaining about, IMO. (the swelling, cuts from her legirons, no water drinking, etc.) She needs a salt-free diet during trial and thicker socks, IMO.

I also noticed Dee Dee did not drink any water at all during court sessions. That, plus sitting all day will cause problems. She did not want to go to the holding cell for the breaks. The officers should have told her she needed to move around some during the day. I used to escort Federal Inmates to court.

I posted over on the Ledger about the trial link. Also sent an email to Florida Lottery to see if they will post the link. They had covered his story on his page earlier after he was found murdered.

I have seen them take her handcuffs off before the jury comes into the room when she is first escorted in and put them on after the jury leaves the room and she is going to be leaving. I have not noticed if they were also taking the leg cuffs off as well or if they leave those on.

No, the legirons are left on at all times. Always. She is causing the cuts herself. Also, a kidney infection will worsen if you sit for extended periods of time without moving around some.

Dee Dee better watch out because malingering can get you in trouble in jail or prison. I'm not doubting she is allergic to her medication, but she does need to be made to get up and go to the holding cell outside the courtroom during breaks. Also, if her kidney infection were too bad, the jail authorities would not let her out of the infirmary. It would be a liability.

ETA: She is not fooling those officers, the doctors, or the judge, IMO.

Elizabeth Johnson wore a brace on one leg that had to be unlocked by her after every step she took. Like EJ, DDM must also cause security concerns to keep her legs shackled during the trial.

Is DDM back in the court room? I see from ACR's tweets that:

Court is playing controlled phone call between Dee Dee Moore and Cedric Edon at her trial right now. http://t.co/4PIHMIG9

She might pass the "hair follicle" test but not the "bull crap" test!

Cedric even asks her what her IQ is, LOL. He knows he's not dealing with somebody with a full deck.

She's trying to act like the poor poor victim. What an idiot.
