I know...not quite as smart as she thinks she is.... I guess because I am not a murderer and like most people can only imagine killing another to protect my children/grandchildren....but I cannot imagne living a seemingly "normal" life after murdering someone....takes a real monster to do that!

One interesting thing about the inventory lists of the jewelry is that it was described as 'diamonds' rather than clear stones. The person taking the inventory does not know if those are diamonds - could have been zirconia. One thing we were taught at the academy and in booking when taking property from arrestees is that you do not use the words gold or diamonds. You use the the wording 'yellow in color' and 'clear stones'. I've no doubt there were diamonds in the jewelry as well as gold, but it was odd to me that a professional would use the words diamonds and gold.

My observation is neither here nor there and does not have any bearing on the case. I just thought it odd.

I know everyone is entitled to their day in court but it has always bothered me deeply when the defendant's defense team is being paid with the dead spouse's life insurance or money like this case. Is Abraham's money paying for DM's attorneys? I understand she had her own company and made good money at one time but if her defense is being bankrolled by Abraham that is just insult to injury.

More tapes. Man what kind of tape machine is he wired with? One that can tape forever and ever and ever....

Good question, Cuckoohead. I am thinking she is being covered by the state, like CA.

I must say, she has to think that she's really convinced Greg Smith that she believes Abraham is alive and is only covering her butt.

Greg knows that Abraham is probably dead, since he's working on a murder investigation with LE.

She really thinks she's made up a convincing story that he is alive and wants to go on TV to tell people that they were all wrong about her. There was even a comment about having them pull something from Dateline! Delusional, fer sure!

ETA: DD isn't smiling anymore. In fact, she looks upset.

Thanks for looking for the letter. There are 7 binders full of documents and I lacked both time and patience to go through it all. I've read it all once, but it was a long time ago and my memory is like swiss cheese, goes in and then goes out one of the many, many holes.

One of the better memory people can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that as soon as they arrested her they also froze her funds and she filed as an indigent and requested a state appointed attorney. This is not her first attorney, but I cannot remember why the last one jumped ship (other than looking at the case and seeing the Titanic sinking). She did have a business, but she turned it over to DM, I believe in December 2009. I think they also froze all her assets so she could not sell them. She had sold off a bit of it as I remember, including some cars.

Since we moved to the sticks last year we had to go with Hughes, and we opted for the lowest plan with limited usage. Works fine for most online stuff but live streaming and videos it really drains. It makes things very slow by the end of the day. DH said it doesn't increase our bill for the day, just boggs it down. So I read vicariously through you guys and will patiently wait for In Session. ( they better air it!!!)
