I don't like the sound of this either!

Calling off the search after only six hrs? Ahizya was last seen sleeping in bed, wearing sweatshirt and pants, so sounds like he was already dressed?

Praying for you little one.

The Hollywood police chief just held a press conference on all our local channels. The boy was found deceased in an "obscure" location of the house. Very sad news.

hiding and possible accident? or hidden?

A reporter asked if they suspect murder. The police chief kind of gave a slight nod and said he's a healthy 3 year old boy so it is being treated as a criminal matter. He said the body is with the medical examiner now. He said they are seeking to interview everyone who had access to the house. When asked about the parents he said they are being cooperative.

It sounds to me like the body was hidden. He said he was in a location even police did not notice when they first searched the house.

hm so they said they'd stopped the ground search several hours before they found him.

Yes, they taped off the house last night and had blood hounds. I think they must have known the body was somewhere in the house but didn't actually discover it until early this morning.

“The child did not place himself in that position.”

Fernandez said it was too early to identify any trauma to the child. If there is any, Fernandez said, “it's hidden from the eye.”

Ahizya's grandfather, Kenneth Tommie said Thursday that the relationship between his daughter and Ahizya's father, Nelson, has been strained and that getting custody of Ahizya has been a “battle.” He said the Department of Children and Families was involved with the family.

"To me something doesn't look right," he said.

He described the boy as playful, happy and outgoing.

"He's just a fun kid," he said.

It's very sad to hear that DCF was already involved with this family and that his mother hadn't seen him since December. He was so little. Why?! :tantrum:

Awwww, dagnabit! Not another child caught in the middle of a "bitter" a custody battle. Why do adults think it is okay to kill a child because they are angry?!!! Innocence sent to heaven as an angel.

  R.I.P. little one
