The Highlands County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing and possibly endangered woman.

Amanda Holland, 25, was last seen in Highway Park on May 23, and last heard from the following day.

Holland disappeared without a phone, car or bank account, making it difficult to track her movements, detectives say.

She is described as a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 5’06” and weighs approximately 125 pounds.

Details of Disappearance
Holland was last seen buying illegal drugs in the Highway Park Area of Lake Placid, Florida on May 23, 2017. She was possibly in the company of Samantha Barfield or Diane Cardenas at the time. Holland and Barfield may have been traveling back and forth between Sun-n-Lakes South and Highway Park in a minivan.

Holland was heard from on May 24, the day after she was last seen, but after that she was never seen or heard from again. She didn't have a cellular phone, vehicle or bank account when she disappeared, making it difficult to track her movements. She is considered to be endangered and her case remains unsolved.

That makes sense, and what a shame that his vehicle was inoperable.

Cant believe she’s still missing. It pops up on my Facebook occasionally since I live in Sebring which is just north of lake placid. Makes me sad people can just disappear without a trace!
