IRCSO searches for missing woman, Amanda Towne
[...]

LK said Towne has three children, two sons and a daughter between 3 and 12 years old.

[...]

... LK said she had spent the night at her home and showed up in the night when she and her husband were asleep.

[...]

Her oldest son last spoke with Towne in the early morning hours before she left, LK said.

She said Towne told her son she planned to walk back to her boyfriend's home, roughly a half -mile south on North Hickory Street.

LK said the boyfriend said Towne never showed up.

LK said Towne has a troubled past with drug use, and was moving from house-to-house of relatives in the area.

Her children had been placed in the custody of another relative, and the Friday before she went missing, LK said she had lost her job.

Regardless of the circumstances, she said she never lost contact with her children and could always be reached by cell phone.

The house they searched was north of Fellsmere in the 1300th block of 99th Street, but I’m not certain exactly who the house belonged to. It was the last place she was seen.
They recovered a vehicle and other "items of interest" from the property where she spent the night of her disappearance.
As far as cellular data, the article states that there hasn’t been any activity on her phone since her disappearance.

Search party looks for missing Fellsmere mom, finds new evidence

upload_2020-5-23_22-45-32.png

Over two months have passed since a Fellsmere mother of three was reported missing to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

Friends and family went searching for Amanda Towne Thursday morning in a wooded area near South Carolina Avenue and 138th Avenue, a few miles from where she was last seen alive in March.
---
“We’re out searching every day,” said Torok, as she wiped away the sweat from her forehead. “Looking for anything that may lead to Amanda. So we can bring her home and bring her family closure
---
Volunteer searchers and friends found items belonging to Towne weeks ago along 141st Avenue near the C-54 Canal, not too far from the home where she was last reportedly seen.

“We can’t say what we found but it was a new piece of evidence and new piece of hope that we are getting closer to Amanda,”

Wednesday, RT [Amanda's mother] traveled to Fellsmere for the first time since her daughter Amanda Towne vanished from the small city of nearly 6,000 residents. Members of Pink Justice, a nationwide group dedicated to finding missing people, joined RT as they searched wooded lots, roadways, and anywhere else they could in the rural, north Indian River County town for any traces of Amanda Towne.

[...]

Six months later, Towne’s family still has no answers on what happened to the mother of three. The family is offering a $2,500 reward for anyone with any information on Amanda Towne’s whereabouts.

[...]

Members of Pink Justice have searched for Amanda Towne since she went missing, including in wildland areas and near the C-54 canal. This week, the group brought RT to a different canal near 141st Street in Fellsmere where they found some of Amanda Towne’s belongings a few months back, said Founder Erika Torok, 44, Vero Beach.

[...]

On a stretch of roadway along County Road 507 and South Carolina Avenue in Fellsmere sits a banner with Amanda Towne’s picture. The sun-beaten banner reads “Bring Amanda Home.”

It was the same location where Amanda Towne’s son R.J., 13, planted flowers on June 4, honoring his mother’s 28th birthday. Ruthann Towne on Wednesday carefully dug through the soil and placed Crown-of-thorns plants just beneath the banner.

[...]

In April, deputies searched the entire property where the mother was last seen. Deputies recovered some of Amanda Towne’s personal items and also seized an older model blue GMC vehicle from the home.

“We will search for DNA on the items,” Flowers previously said. “We’ve talked to dozens of witnesses and have several persons of interest. We’re trying to recover anything we can to find Towne and make an arrest.”

Sheriff’s Detective Luis Avila previously said Towne’s brother lived at the residence. Deputies said Towne did not have a vehicle.

Search continues for missing Fellsmere mom of three a year later

March 2021
It's been one year since Amanda Towne, 28, of Fellsmere, disappeared.

She vanished without a trace, only leaving a series of questions in her path.

"The people claiming to be the last ones in contact with her, and who claim to care about her and her three children, remain silent to this day," was published on the Finding Amanda Towne Facebook page. "Someone knows something. If you know something, speak up. That little clue that you think may be nothing may be the one big lead that could bring her home to her loved ones- her mother Ruthann, her brother, and especially her 3 children who miss their mom and deserve answers and closure after all this time."

Detectives searched the house and surroundings where the 28-year-old was reportedly last seen, and removed items from that property that were scanned for DNA, including a light blue older model GMC Sierra pickup truck. Authorities used K-9 dogs, a helicopter, and a dive team to search for evidence.
