This is who bothers me, only, I have no real evidence to support itJust a hunch, and it seems to make sense as far as him being there that day, living so close by, and being able to explain away why he is in the trailer if he WAS caught in there by Misty (left keys, cell phone, wallet, didn't want to disturb her). Also comfortable enough to turn on light.

IIRC, the brother's sons were over there playing that day before Haleigh went missing? (Anyone help me out on this?)

I mean, the guy knows the area, if Haleigh liked playing with his kids, or he had toys Haleigh didn't, he could have persuaded her to leave with him/calmed her, he would have known whether or not he could overpower the occupant, whether she would be likely to use a gun, how to unlock the back door, the layout of the house, lightswitch, where Haleigh would be sleeping, could explain his presence in the house, etc ad nauseam. I've though this one through a lot.

Now, if only I had that pesky evidence...heh
