ORLANDO, Fla. — A Missing Child Alert was issued for a 4-year-old boy who disappeared from Orlando on Monday.

According to OCSO, Amere Baptiste was last seen near Waterford Lakes Parkway and Alafaya trail. He was wearing a dark blue onsie top, green pants, white socks and no shoes when he left his Victoria Place Circle home.
Deputies search for 4-year-old who wandered away from Orange County home

The FDLE also urged those searching for Baptiste to check the water.

Adorable little grin! I hope he’s safe. This stormy weather is causing flooding all over, overflowing ditches, streets are disintegrating, chunks of tar everywhere.

According to OCSO, Amere Baptiste was found deceased in a body of water near the home on Victoria Place Circle where he wandered away from.

"Our detectives are still looking into how this tragedy occurred," OCSO said.

as someone with an almost four year old i’d never keep them in a onesie and it seems too small as well…i feel hinky unless the child is developmentally disabled.
