This is so sad that people, who have had tragedy in their lives like they have, have to turn the world out. It's not fair and it's not healthy. :(

He described how the sudden loss of his daughter has broken the family’s daily routines and ability to function.
“I have had to shut the world out. I do not watch the TV anymore. We have literally had to stop doing anything to do with the internet,” he said.

“We are very private people. Our lives have been turned upside down.”

I can request the thread / post be removed if it's offensive?

Something just occurred to me. On the good side... how often do murder investigations have a small amount of people for LE to sleuth? Because think about it... it was someone on board the ship. Unless they had a stowaway that jumped overboard before docking.

Offensive? I don't see anything offensive about this thread. I just feel for their family, and all families that have had to deal with something like this when online trolls and come out from under the bridge and put everyone through hell. WS would have to remove every thread if that was offensive, ya know?

Ok, I was just concerned when I read the dad's quote (which I missed on my first quick read of the articles), and didn't want to do more harm to the family by posting.

No, please leave it. We are absorbing it together in real time, posting MSM, with our reactions. All real. All good.

And she had a life goal. Not everyone her age does. Heck, not a lot of the perps I've read about on this site at 2-3-4X her ago do! It's all just so sad.

“She had just finished taking the test to join the military,” they said. “She was already talking to recruiters and had chosen her career path. She wanted to do something that would help her community.”

Some video clips of Anna in this DM article. There are 2 short vids. The one at the top and then one down below. The 2nd one looks the same as the 1st one, except it shows over shots of Anna. Just a FYI in the event you think you're watching a duplicate vid and want to click out.

What a dreadful tragedy. It's clear that she was a wonderful, kind and giving young woman.

I am waiting to hear more.
Where was Anna found?
What was her cause of death?
Who had she been hanging out with on the cruise? (I understand she was found dead on the final day of the cruise...long enough to make some connections on board.)

I really can't imagine what her family is going through! How horrific! You head out on a family vacation and your daughter is murdered??!

“Everybody was questioned. Everybody came off that ship. I don’t know who they are looking at or what their investigation is,” the 41-year-old dad from Titusville, Florida, told the Daily Mail.

“The FBI hasn’t shared anything with me yet. I would imagine they’re going to be in contact with me about it – but I know as little as everybody else,” he continued.
“I have no idea what is going on right now. We are just trying to sit still and wait for answers.”

The FBI, which is leading the investigation because the death occurred in international waters, has released scant details on the circumstances surrounding her death.

The Miami Dade County Medical Examiner lists Anna’s time of death at 11: 17 a.m. on Nov. 7, but does not specify where or how it happened, according to the Daily Mail.

That's a very specific time of death. LE must know something about an 'incident'.

It seems like going on a cruise is not as safe as it once was. But who really thinks they can get away with something like this given there are cameras everywhere and you're confined to the ship. Where could they go? Are we overlooking something that may give a murderer the confidence to commit such an awful crime thinking they will get away with it?

You're fine! I'm so glad you started a thread. I have been watching and waiting for a couple of days to see if somebody was going to do it! What an unfathomable tragedy. Of course, there are rumors circulating online but it's hard to imagine anything beyond an accident when you have an ambitious young person vacationing on a cruise with family.

Just a guess on my part but perhaps the time listed was when she was removed from the ship? Or when the ME arrived and declared her (officially) deceased? I doubt they have an exact time of death down to the minute. Unless she was wearing a watch that reveals her final moments (movement, then no more heartrate). I don't think it's the latter because LE is being so tight-lipped. Also, doesn't info like that take time to receive? I'm thinking it was likely when she was declared dead by the ME IMO.
