I’m on my way out now but will watch this later when I’m home. One thing I’d rather skip though is the memorial. I cannot deal with watching her family grieve while they protect the murderer.

Those are some serious allegations the father of her ex-BF made about the step-brother. Like... HUGE! And after that they shared a cabin??? You don't mix teen boys and girls unchaperoned together! At least I wouldn't recommend it. It's asking for trouble, and I wasn't talking about the kind of trouble that came out of this shared room situation. JMO

And they made her stay in the same room with that creep without any adult supervision?? Another case of a victim being surrounded by awful people making terrible choices.

Anna Kepner: An 11/17 court filing from Thomas Hudson, Kepner's stepmother's ex, paints a disturbing picture of a troubled family life after the cruise ship death of 18-year-old Anna Kepner. In the sworn motion, he says his 16-year-old child, who was on the cruise with mother Shauntel Hudson, is officially being questioned in Anna’s death and was briefly taken into custody before being released to live with a "third party." He also accuses Shauntel of violating court orders, refusing to let him see his younger children, and placing them in dangerous situations (citing an earlier violent altercation between the mother and their now adult son that left to live with him). Hudson says the youngest child is at “immediate risk of abuse, abandonment, or neglect,” and is asking the judge for emergency custody, makeup parenting time, and sanctions against Shauntel. This is alarming. What was Anna dealing with?

There's three kinds of people that book inside cabins
1) Those that just can't afford anything nicer.
2) Those that plan to spend most of their time partying, and the cabin is just a place to crash at night and then sleep in without the sun waking them up.
3) As a second cabin to stick the kids in.

If you like to hang out in your cabin all day relaxing, you book a balcony cabin, so it wouldn't surprise me if no one was home next door to heat anything. Or if they did if they thought it was just some kids roughousing and goofing around while the parents were down the hall in their balcony cabin.

I can say that 18 yr olds are allowed to drink in international waters but 16 yr olds are not allowed. Don't know how they came up with that one.

and that father says that Anna was even afraid of him. She evidently had reason to be afraid.
I don't for the life of me understand the parents who were on this cruise
