Wow, here is a case that needs a bump for sure. This poor young woman was shot dead then left under a large piece of metal roofing. Someone went to some amount of trouble to conceal her yet she has remained unidentified for 31 years!

Orange County deputies attempt to ID woman nicknamed 'Miss Wekiva' in 1993 cold case

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify a woman nicknamed “Miss Wekiva” in a 1993 cold case.

The sheriff’s office on Tuesday posted on social media about the case from April 1993.

The woman’s remains were found on April 22, 1993, in the woods near Piedmont Wekiwa Road and North Orange Blossom Trail. Deputies said her body was estimated to have been there about three to six weeks and that she had been fatally shot.

Boy, the reconstruction in NAMUS is quite different from the one on DOE NETWORK and certainly does not look like a white (or Caucasian) person to me.
