No shoes is concerning to me because there is quite a few times I have left my home running without shoes and that was to escape a domestic assault. I pray this isn't the case for her.

I think the info had been rectified, she had shoes but not good ones for running

But some runner friends of mine and I just found out about this and I was wondering if they ever released the cause of death?

No evidence to indicate foul play combined with statements made from the family to police and media make it fairly clear that she lost her battle with mental illness.
