@gardener, I remain skeptic about their ability to check every missing person website. I especially find it hard to believe that they are checking every single new entry. Of course, if new entries have fingerprints, dentals or DNA on file that would automatically rule them out but new entries without any of those would require someone constantly scouting the internet and going through every new entry and I highly doubt they have the necessary manpower for that. Maybe they did so at first but as months go by without new leads, this case will slowly be put aside and added to the pile of cold cases while they focus on new cases with fresh leads. I cannot really blame them, it’s just the way things go. At the same time that means I disagree on automatically ruling out everyone in Namus or other websites like it ourselves.
I also disagree with Elias not being able to lose so much weight in a couple of months. If he had indeed been terminally ill, it would not be impossible for him to lose that amount of weight. I’m not saying that therefore it’s him, I’m just playing advocate of the devil here
Regardless of all that, I still do not see the resemblance with Karl that everyone else seems to be seeing. There are too many structural differences between their faces for them to be the same person imo. Though, I’m happy people here are really trying to get him officially ruled out!
