Have the Faries family provided DNA to LE for a comparison? Or at the very least provided it to DNA Doe Project?

I'm not sure. I know scads of people have said they sent Faries to CCSO. It's a little curious to me that he is not in the case file since that has been said numerous times. And, he's not on any rule out list. Seems like a simple one to be able to rule out to me. Maybe I'm wrong on that, I don't know.

Thank you for your polite replies. Sadly it seems some of the facebook pages , have gone a little "Mad" with influxes and some often downright rude replies, so I am deliberately taken a step back for some time. It's great to be on a civil minded platform.
On a total obscure idea, did anyone actually put The young man who went missing after reading silver elves, he really did look like a younger MH. (I ordered the silver elves book and gained nothing but a slightly lighter purse!)
I'm hoping we might know this side of christmas, poor chap.

I know I sent him in (and others im sure) maybe a day after he was uploaded, I wonder why it has taken so long, surely they would show a picture to family and ask is this possible? Apparently Williams family have sent in familial Dna, I'm not sure if this is to cross reference with MH though or weather to just have it on file.

I'll say this about Faries, it's been in my mind since he was mentioned again. I don't think it is him. But, the fact that he's not in the case file, the fact that Othram said they would defer to the families wishes to keep MH's identity private, and the other similarities, I would not be shocked if it was MH. My spidey sense is tingling. I don't think it will be long. If the name is withheld, he goes to the top of the list.

Matthew Pendergast, a totally bizarre rabbit hole. I found a picture I don't think it's him, but a few people thought he looked like MH.
With Faries, someone uploaded a document of his writing (I Think I recall this being a company sign over) I found his W looked very much like MH from his work books.

I'll have to look into him, I don't recall going down that rabbit hole.

OK, JMO but that's a huge time difference (16ish years) and he doesn't look like MH to me. That is a baffling one, you would think Matthew would have been pretty easy to find. Unless of course he prepped in advance and had clothes and cash nearby so he could start a new life.

I've heard that Stevik's identity was found out but the person who he was had a raft of offenses that should have made him easy to find through fingerprints.

I’m assuming Faries was reported missing by someone (family/friend) surely they would be able to look at MH and make a call, right? Not to mention those that spent some time with MH on the trail. They do not appear to be excited over this guy potentially being MH. IMO

That’s why I find all of our opinions on this so interesting! The eyes on Faries look so wild eyed to me, the complete opposite of MH calm, relaxed facial expressions. IMO Thanks for your reply.

Because Matthew Pendergrast is a missing person, I can share info about him here. IMO, I still see the resemblance, but I think the likelihood is slim given the timeline & circumstances.

Wow. Thanks for sharing the rabbit hole. I went to the same school some years before him (before it was re-named as Rhodes College) and had never heard about this. I don't think December graduations were common there. Interestingly, I remember there was a brief school holiday in February commonly known as "Suicide Break" to de-stress students after returning to campus after holidays. I never found school there to be that stressful, but I didn't end up graduating from there either, so draw your own conclusions.

It's a bizarre story about MP ("Kulesa said numerous interviews were conducted, adding that even an Elvis impersonator was questioned"), but he seems like an unlikely match for MH.

I know his real name, they were traffic tickets. You don't get fingerprinted when you get a ticket.

Oh, it was just traffic tickets? I thought he had more charges against him which is why people thought it unusual they never connected the two.
