Fort Myers Police Department issues silver alert for missing 69-year-old man
Silver Alert Issued by FMPD.
The Fort Myers Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing male. Blaise C. Filardi, date of birth November 7, 1948, was reported missing by his daughter, Nicole Filardi. Ms. Filardi reported last seeing her father, Blaise, at approximately 10 a.m. on Tuesday June 26, 2018 after she provided him with directions on how to get to a VA appointment on Jackson Street in Fort Myers. At that time Mr. Filardi was wearing a pair of sweat pants, a navy blue shirt and a police or New York Yankees baseball cap. He is described as being approximately 5’, 11” tall and weighing around 200 pounds with blue eyes and a pale complexion. He left for his appointment driving a 2011 red Chevrolet Camaro bearing a Florida Navy License tag NFH7Y.
Ms. Filardi advises that her father takes medications for several health conditions and uses oxygen at home. It is believed he suffers from early onset dementia but is not under medical treatment for the condition at this time. A search for Mr. Filardi’s cell phone showed its last known location was Fort Pierce, Florida. Law Enforcement agencies in the Fort Pierce area have been alerted and are assisting in the search. If Mr. Filardi is seen by a member of the public please contact the nearest law enforcement agency with his whereabouts.
