Judge didn't buy any of the garbage spewed by the whiny, screeching defense.

Threw the book at him, consecutive life sentences and he has to pay trial expenses. Wish I could see the weasel's ugly face right now.

That was the longest sentencing I've ever heard. Glad he won't be getting out!

I came hear from Jenise Wright's thread because someone referenced this defendant. What a horrific but fascinating case!

After reading this entire thread, I just wanted to thank you, TigerBalm for your outstanding trial coverage. Also, I love that you've added photos of Mary Jo and Blake Wright here at the end. You've demonstrated such devotion to the victims, I hope you won't mind my pointing out the mistake here in your memorial, as it's such a touching tribute and fitting conclusion to this thread. Again, great job and thank you.
Rest in piece Mary Jo and Blake
Rest in Peace

Appeals court reverses life sentences for convicted killer Tyler Hadley
An appeals court Wednesday reversed the double life prison terms Tyler Hadley is serving for killing his parents in 2011 and ordered the case back to a trial judge for a new sentencing hearing.

In a four-page ruling, the 4th District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach concluded that during Hadley’s 2014 sentencing, Circuit Judge Robert Makemson “did not consider the correct alternative to a life sentence.”

The appellate panel also ruled Makemson determined Hadley, now 22, had a criminal past “that was unsupported by the record.”

A man who brutally bludgeoned his parents in 2011 then threw a house party might not be present at a court hearing next week to review his two life sentences that were struck down on appeal.

Tyler Hadley, 22, now incarcerated in Okeechobee Correctional Institution about 35 miles from here, is being punished for having a weapon in the shower area of the prison, and Judge James McCann of Florida's 19th Judicial Circuit Court hasn't signed an order to tell prison officials to transport Hadley to St. Lucie County for a May 19 hearing.
