4-year-old child dies after being left in hot car in Florida; heat index today reached 102 degrees

A little boy has died after being left in a hot car in Florida, just outside of Orlando, officials say.

ABC affiliate WFTV reports that the 4-year-old child was found in a vehicle around 3:30 p.m. Friday. The heat index in Orlando on Friday reached 102 degrees. The temperature in Orlando at 5:15 p.m. was 92 degrees.

After so many reported deaths, don't the parents take any precautions?

I saw a report about the 1 yr old, who also died yesterday. And her mother had one of those mirrors, on her visor, which go to the mirror showing the car seat. So she never noticed that her child was still in the car seat, even though the mirror right on front of her face, showed she was? She was arrested, apparently.
