A 9 year-old girl in DeLand, Florida, shot her 8-year-old brother when five children were left in the home alone, last night.
The boy is in critical condition. Police are considering charges against the parent/parents. A neighbor spoke of very poor conditions in the home.
'Doctors at Arnold Palmer Children's hospital are trying to save the boy, who remains in critical condition.
"What we know right now is that there were five children under the age of 10 home alone in the house," said Sgt. Chris Estes of the DeLand Police Department.'
