GUILTY FL - Boy in a Box abuse trial - Parents, Timothy & Tracy Ferriter Arrested, Jupiter, Feb 2022

I feel so sad for all those children. You know they still love him, but at least he won’t be able to abuse them further.

Judge is putting him in custody of the jail until sentencing.

Too late for the mother to cry.

November 16th for sentencing

He’s just sitting there with no emotion what so ever.

I hope his attorneys got him to sign that they recommended he take that plea deal.

They knew the judge wasn't going to let the most damaging stuff in and that 2 years would be a cakewalk compared to what this judge will likely give him.

Wow just checked Twitter and saw the news! Good job jury!

Sentencing date Nov. 16 @1:30 pm ET, 2 hours reserved.
Thank you Judge Coates Jr. and thank you, thank you to the jurors for your excellent service.

Court is in recess.

:) Justice for RF and this imo will pave the way for other abused children.

Wife is finally showing emotion, but he is staying totally emotionless.

I'm sure she's worried. Expect her to plead out imminently, maybe even before his sentencing hearing would be my guess.

Glad they got this right.

The look on Tracy's face is priceless. I've never seen anyone being processed in a courtroom before. Is there a reason for this?

Just IMO, Judge Coates sounded a little out of breath when speaking, then he made the comment about staying on the bench to take care of things because it is a long walk to chambers. Hope he takes care of himself, he seems like a decent judge.

Will the state still offer her a plea deal do you think, considering the verdict in this trial?

I have never seen it either. I was surprised when his tie etc. were removed. My gut says good, let Tracy see this, maybe it will make a plea deal look better. just MO

He's probably in shock. Being remanded is probably really scaring him. I can imagine him thinking if the judge is remanding me, he must think this was really bad, and this could mean my sentencing will be far more harsh than I bet on it being when I denied that plea offer. Well, good. This person expressed zero remorse though actions, body language, or words imo.

I'm glad this is on L&C because I bet if it was on Court TV they would have cut us off right after the verdict to go to their analysts. I'd much rather continue to see what's happening. jmo

Tim Ferriter turns to his wife, tells her he loves her as they embrace and deputies escort him to the corner of the courtroom where he is slot taking off his jacket, tie and belt. He shows little emotion but Tracy crumples into tears. Her trial date has not yet been set @CourtTV
