According to police, around 7:00 p.m., they received a call from a home in the 2400 block of NW 43 Place. When police arrived; they found four-year-old Brandon Widder with what police believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Police interviewed several witnesses and announced they arrested 21-years-old Johnathan David Dortch for culpable negligence with a weapon and tampering with evidence.
