Deceased/Not Found FL - Brandy Hall, 32, Palm Bay, 17 Aug 2006

Does anyone have any idea's on how to get intouch with the FBI agent/s who in 2011 took over the case? I would like to see if they will let us know if they are still actively looking for Brandy or if they have closed the case on her. It has been 3 yrs since any updates from LE. What happened to further investigation of the POI's ?

Where are you Brandy??

Thank you.

I only read some of the articles on the internet but I thought one of them said she had been fired from her paid job and had went to another department as a volunteer. That's why I wondered why FBI were looking into the disappearance of a 'volunteer'.

Thank you for the kind words.

She volunteered in order to keep her firefighter certification in force in the interim of getting reinstated. Yes, she had been fired from her paid firefighter job but, not rightfully so. It was only by association of her husband that had been busted in the criminal activity. She was in the process of trying to get reinstated with the PB Fire Dept. since the charges had been dropped against her.

I believe if you call the Palm Bay Police Dept. they can put you in touch with the last investigator on the case and find out from there. Not sure they would be willing to answer any questions but......they would certainly welcome any thoughts I'm sure.

Thank you :) I will give them a call. Hopefully a push may get them more active on her case.

I've been MIA due to illness...it is so great to see so many people interested in Brandy's case. Balor, you rule.

I've been in contact with the Palm Bay Police Department, and they stonewalled me. They won't give me any information because Brandy's case is active, and they don't want to talk to me unless I have useful information. I want to tell them to suck it.

You have been missed! I hope all is well. I had a feeling they would be like that. I still wonder about the good ole boys club ya know what I mean. You rock too!! You have helped so much ! I am so glad your back! :)

Brandy's Disappeared episode was shown here in Australia again over the past few days. I just don't know what to think - my gut tells me the husband didn't do anything to her. So many questions though!

Thanks. :-)

They are definitely a bunch of good ole boys! I tried to weasel in via another city's police force, thinking they would be more loose-lipped with a fellow officer, but not so much.

I was hoping when I sent the emails out , I sent one to both Departments ( Fire ) , that someone would pop up. Nothing though. Frustrates me to no end the wall that is up on this case.

That's how it works though. Unless you have information for them, they don't have any time for you. I ran across this on the internet. Interesting that this poetry site is only about 35 min. from Palm Bay. The author is interesting and the word that pops out at me is "ether". http://belovedhearts.com/stories/Randal-He-634130707278437500.aspx

It is very intriguing. Could be very telling as to clues maybe.....

I feel it is long overdue, the POI/s need to be re-interviewed . Brandy needs to be brought home.

Bumping for Brandy. :bump:

As stated by the detective in the video, they refuse to do any more interviews. Attorney won't allow it. Is that legal?

You can almost always refuse to answer police questions, but depending on the circumstances it may produce somewhat different legal results.

Here is a general breakdown of your legal options when questioned by the police in three common scenarios: If You're Stopped On the Street, If You're Asked to Come In for Questioning

You need to be in police "custody" in order for an officer to give you a Miranda warning, and consenting to come in for questioning technically does not count as custody.

So if you volunteer to walk into a police station without being under arrest, and choose to answer police questions, you do not need to be read your Miranda rights, the Supreme Court has held.

You can, however, ignore or refuse a request to come in for questioning -- but police may then choose to arrest you. And lastly ; If You're Arrested

Thank you for that but, I don't understand why they don't just arrest him and bring him in. He was the last person that Brandy spoke to that night and was seen driving up and down the local roads that following morning (off duty) but in an official Fire Dept. vehicle. Jeff said that morning he was supposed to go with him to court but called to say he couldn't make it and sounded like he was crying. RR's story is she was going to meet someone after getting gas, then changed it to he didn't know where she went. Later on said she wanted to disappear, maybe out in the woods somewhere, etc. Which is it? Ya know? Nothing can convince me that he doesn't know what happened to her.
