ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Human remains discovered last week in a heavily wooded area in St. Johns County have been identified as that of Brittany Tavar, a 45-year-old Ponte Vedra Beach woman last seen in July.

Seattle Police recovered Tavar's RAV4 in a North Seattle library parking lot. FBI officials are processing the car, Harrigan said. Roberts told investigators he abandoned the vehicle there nearly two months ago.


BBM was the car in the news in Seattle for people to be on the lookout???

Joseph Roberts, 30, took a plea deal Friday in the death of Brittany Tavar...

Roberts, a transient who had been living with Tavar, had made a DVD for her to use in a court case in which she was involved, an ongoing dispute with a neighbor. Tavar and Roberts got into a fight over the DVD, and he killed her, deputies said.
