I'm wondering if she was homeless. Not that that matters, I was wondering because she was found wrapped in a sheet. Was wondering where and how a sheet came into play. Perhaps she carried one around in her backpack to lay on the sand and catch some rays.

Hollywood Police and Fire Rescue located the body of 56-year-old Heather Asendorf wrapped in a sheet on the sand, investigators said.

I’ve been reading all the comments since the day she was found, and the people who knew her say that she was not homeless. Maybe the crime happened somewhere else and they dragged her there, or perhaps the person who took her life lived nearby?

Taking her there would be the kidnapping charge. I had wondered about that.

McCray is being held in the Broward Main Jail on $770,000 bond, according to online records reviewed by Us Weekly. If he manages to post that amount, he will need to wear an ankle monitoring device fitted with a GPS.

Odd that he wrapped her up, and then placed her backpack resting against her. Why even move the backpack from where ever it was?

We always have a “beach sheet” in our beach bag. We put our shoes, towels, cooler on it. Put the umbrella up next to it. So I think that’s likely how a sheet came in to play.
