A Florida Amber Alert has been issued for 16-year-old Bruce Hagans after he was allegedly abducted from Winter Garden near Orlando, local officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.

Bruce was last seen on Friday when he was allegedly abducted in the 1000 block of Lincoln Terrance in Winter Garden, according to the amber alert. Specific details about the kidnapping were not immediately known.
According to police, Bruce was abducted by an unidentified, light-skinned black male with dreadlocks. He’s believed to have taken Bruce in a dark gray Infiniti G37. The suspect may be armed and dangerous.

A photo of Bruce has not been released, but he’s described as a 16-year-old black male with black hair and brown eyes, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt.

Anyone who sees Bruce, the suspect, or the suspect vehicle, is urged to call 911 immediately, or call the Winter Garden Police Department at 407-877-5482 if you have any other information that could help investigators.

For Bruce to be 6’2”, it seems it would be difficult to abduct him and force him into a two door car.

Guess if the abductor was holding a gun or knife to him, he wouldn’t give any resistance.

Did the picture of the car come from a video camera at the spot of abduction? If so, LE should have a picture of the suspect as well as the abduction. Maybe they aren’t ready to release that yet. Hope Bruce is found quickly and is safe.

If he was shot, he definitely could be in dire straights right now. Why someone would shoot him and not leave him is weird. Normally, people don't shoot someone then scoop them up and put them in their car. Hoping he was not injured and will be found safely.

Around 1 p.m., Winter Garden police said that a body had been found in the area and an arrest had been made. Officials did not release any details about the body, including identity, sex or age.

I would imagine the F.B.I. is scrutinizing the data from the surveillance cams around the areas. Thankfully they have a description of the car.

The teen's father had a message for the people who he said claimed to be his son's friends but ultimately didn't help with the investigation.

"That was totally wrong, the way you treated Bruce," he said. "They're going down."

Family members said Hagans was an energetic teen who loved playing drums in his church's band.
