I agree, was not absolving her at all.
I just am astounded by the amount of scrips she has.
That is why I wondered if they were all from the same time period, or possibly overlapping, some older, some newer, try a different one, etc.

And also why I said this Doc might be worrying.
When reading off some of those pill bottles they were all from him. If I was that Dr. sitting at home listening to that I would be bumping up my malpractice.
NOT saying he deserves that. Just saying this is the world we live in, and I am betting sooner or later it will come up :sigh:

ETA- The amount of actual pills is not what threw me, it was the amount of different kinds of pills she had.
It seemed like way too many to not have bad interaction.

Yeah what I don't get is different medicines for what sounds like the same illness/symptoms? Was JS stockpiling?

Yeah, I call BS on that

What should I avoid while taking lithium?

Avoid drinking alcohol or using illegal drugs while you are taking lithium. They may decrease the benefits (e.g., worsen your symptoms) and increase adverse effects (e.g., sedation, dizziness).

Avoid excessive intake of caffeinated beverages, such as coffee, tea, cola or energy drinks, since these may decrease levels of lithium and decrease effectiveness of the medication

http://www.nami.org/Content/ContentGroups/Helpline1/Lithium.htm

Pretty much any drug taken for mental health is a big NO-NO to combine with alcohol.

ITA---Parker was telling her NO drinking and she produced this note---I call BS on it as well---

Without the Dr's input it is hard to know if she was switched from some because they weren't working or side effects, etc jmo

in the emails she had some sort of note from the doctor saying it was ok to have one or two glasses of wine while taking lithium....

Wonder if the doctor was led to believe that the one or two glasses would be consumed during meals and not on an empty stomach?

That is what I'm trying to say. The people who knew her knew she should not have a weapon. Her doctor was treating her for depression. In order to qualify to not own a gun it seems you have to kill someone, then they can un-approve you from buying another weapon. jmo

Yes, exactly. It's an outdated method that needs to be updated to include more extensive background checks.
IMO, the treating physician should be able to submit some sort of report that they recommend that their patient not be permitted to purchase guns. Ideally, that should be included in the info that comes up for the background checks.
It's not a perfect idea, but a starting point at least.

I see what you are saying Zoey, and you are right, I think :)

And should we start a pool as to when she posts the tweets in the opposite threads? :giggle:

I wonder if this Doc is on the witness list.
Do we have that info available anywhere?

That could be really interesting if he is called.

*Catching up* from the break, so if this was answered I will delete.

The man on the end is Parker Schenecker.
One of the women is his sister I believe?
Possibly his mother is there also.

I know Parker and his sister were allowed to stay in court even though they will testify (Or was is JS's sister?).

Not sure who the woman was who was crying though.

I think the woman (who was crying) is the grandmother Nancy Schenecker. The one who would come over and take care of the kids.
