I truly think we need to revisit HIPPA----I get what it protects but sometimes you need to get beyond it. It would have help PS to have the doctor talk to him---perhaps the family would have been more understanding {?} of MI-- jmo

I swore if I ever committed a crime to do it in Arizona where it would take them four or five years to get the case to trail with a few more years after that to decide the penalty but then again maybe just more delays ....

What do ya all think? Is Julie Schenecker going to testify? I think she might. She is strong willed the way she took on the judge and I saw her get angry at the jail guard when the guard neglected to pick up some paperwork for JS.

BBM I really think this is a flaw with the HIPPA rules. When someone is suicidal, it could affect the home life, IMO.

Agree it is ridiculous. If I found a home health patient in bad shape or dead, the law meant I could not call family to alert them but could call EMS or coroner. As if!!
