Because he loves his daughter so much, he murdered her mommy. If I said what I really think about this 'thing', I would get a TO, but the sheriff's description of him as a dirtbag was far, far too kind.

I took it to mean that he’d want to be incarcerated close to where his daughter is living. Saylor’s safety really isn’t in question since the sheriff hinted that she would be going back to her maternal family until permanent arrangements can be made. I’m not sure why he feels he should have any say in his daughter’s life and I have the feeling that he’s going to try and demand to see her. He definitely seemed like the controlling type.

She was with her father and he was arrested in TN. I think AL DCS checked the child out but they probably didn't have reason to remove her from MS since he was not arrested. More than likely, she's on her way to Florida now.

Sheriff Johnson again stated Saylor is safe, adding that she has been checked on by the Tennessee Department of Children and Families.

I think the defendant is saying he will waive extradition when he knows that the child is no longer in TN.

IMO, Monday was probably the first opportunity for a Judge to sign an order transferring the minor out of TN.

I believe the child was in TN with MS when he was arrested and reportedly was being checked on by the TN Dept of Children and Families.

He clearly thought he could muscle his demands with Cassie. He is about to find out that doesn't work too well with LE and the judicial system. JMO
