Authorities issued a Purple Alert for a Central Florida woman who was reported missing after she left her job early Tuesday and has not been seen or heard from since. Those alerts go out when an adult suffering from mental, cognitive, intellectual or developmental disabilities is missing, but does not meet criteria for a Silver Alert.

The Osceola County Sheriff's Office said Catrina Ashley, 41, was seen by her daughter leaving her home to go to work at the Hilton on Hotel Plaza Boulevard in Buena Vista at 7:30 a.m. Deputies said she arrived to work, but co-workers said she left early.

Ashley was last seen wearing an orange pantsuit and a white tank top. She may be driving her back 2020 Dodge Challenger bearing a Florida tag LKBM90.

Both YO (aunt) and OO (cousin) told News 6 that they first found out Ashley had disappeared when they got a call from Ashley’s husband.

“Just said Catrina is missing, and she came home from work. She left work sick on Tuesday, and after that, no one has seen her,” YO said.

Ashley has not responded to phone calls or been seen since leaving her job at about 1 p.m. Tuesday, deputies said.

According to deputies, Ashley has black hair and brown eyes, is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds.

Should anyone locate Ashley, they were advised not to approach her and to contact law enforcement immediately, according to FDLE.

I hope she’s ok! 3 days now. Maybe just went somewhere to be alone for awhile?

The Osceola County Sheriff's Facebook has been updated to say that Catrina was found, with no further details. However, reading the comments, it appears to have been a sad discovery. Assuming there will be an update in MSM soon.
