Unbelievable. I have to admit I’m stunned. How could there be a verdict so fast? I feel so bad for Mrs. Oulson, she looked heartbroken all over again. I wonder if Mrs. Reeves is happy about the verdict. Lol. All the time, effort and money put into this..what a waste.

She didn't look as ecstatic as you would think, having won this "victory". After all, he's been on "home incarceration", with an ankle monitor, for eight years. I know that I, had I been his wife, would have "disappeared" myself, in similar circumstances.

Just think, his pension would have continued, but he would have been behind bars. The incoming pension would have been used to pay the ensuing legal fees (and, they will still need to be paid). She would have been compelled to visit him regularly, on account of the (adult) children, even though she may not have been feeling it. It works out better this way for her, I guess. But I have always suspected (IMO -- only -- IMO!) that he was not very nice to her.

Is this judge saying a hung jury is not allowed? This is the strangest thing I’ve ever heard.

I served on a jury where the judge told us that the fact we couldn't agree wasn't acceptable and we were to get back to deliberating.

I agree that he might not have been very nice to her. Also IMO. He reminds me of my old uncle that is NEVER wrong. I mean the guy (CR) didn’t even look a little bit remorseful that he had taken a life OR unnecessarily injured Mrs. Oulson. Was he even found guilty of any of the charges for injuring Mrs Oulson? I might not be able to watch another trial for awhile after this one.

Alexwood...agree....he is a bully plain and simple. We all know people like him. Her husband took the life of another man for no reason at all.....but I think more or less all the Reeves are made out of the same stuff. Never a word about the victim. His son looks like one too. And bet the daughter is really a touch one too.

hopefully, Nicole will have the emotional strength and support to file a civil suit against his smug 🤬🤬🤬...would seem to be a slam dunk - Ala oj...with a legit judge and jury that she obviously didn't have this go round after eight freaking years of mindless appeals. Reeves looks like a cantankerous frog and he needs to be held accountable. His defense team was incompetent as hell but he had a corrupt judge which is what makes this even more disgusting.

No. He was found "Not Guilty" of charge connected with Nicole Oulson's injury to her hand.

That is the bizarre thing he is not guilty of the agg assault on Nicole as she sits there with the disfigured and non function ring finger. How must she feel???

I agree. She feels horrible. I sure hope she can try to get on with her life, and not look back. She is a young woman with her entire life ahead of her. I admire her, so much, for continuing to maintain a normal life for her daughter's sake. She apparently has continued to work, full time, with the same company as before. That takes strength! This has been a horrific nightmare for her for over eight years now. She is not the same person that she was. CR robbed her of what seemed to be a wonderful life.

I saw an interview with Nicole. It may have been an old interview. But she said exactly that..no matter the verdict, she needs to move forward and not look back for her daughter’s sake. She seems like a very levelheaded person.

I found what the judge said. It was after the verdict.

I see that Nicole just settled with the theater at the end of 2021. the settlement was "private" and I assume she got a nice amount from it. Now hopefully she can file a civil suit again Reeves which should be easy to win with lower threshold to find guilty. This is really going the route of OJ.

Oh yes heard that ...unbelievable. She was one of the worst judges I have seen and I think not honest. A "wonderful time" as she came in every day looking like she had just rolled out of bed ? Wonder what her real story is. Not impressive down there in Pasco County at all.

What price victory? Thousands of dollars spent on his defense.

what a shocking verdict -- then again it occurred in Florida
So maybe we shouldn't be that stunned.
