Found Safe FL - Charles Rowley, 85, may be driving north, Nokomis, Sarasota County, 7 Apr 2019 *dementia*

Detectives are currently attempting to locate a missing endangered adult.

Charles W. Rowley, DOB 04/05/34, was last seen today leaving the 200 block of La Costa Drive in Nokomis, driving a 2007 red Ford Sport Trac bearing Kentucky tag 105GWA. The vehicle has a U.S. Marines specialty tag on the front.

Mr. Rowley has white hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a dark button-down collared shirt, dark pants and black slip-on shoes.

Mr. Rowley has onset dementia. He also has a home in Bowling Green, Kentucky and may be driving north.

Anyone who has information regarding his whereabouts or comes into contact with Mr. Rowley should dial 911 immediately.

If he went north on US41, there are a ton of traffic cameras. I hope they've spoken to his neighbors. In the mobile home parks, many of the elderly keep an eye on each other. I hope the family can get a Silver Alert issued quicker since it's a dementia issue.

There's two alerts on the highway signs today. One is for this gentleman .

eTA - just saw the second silver alert on the highway signs person was located safely. Let's find this man!

Hope he's located quickly - it's tough to navigate a trip such as this (assuming he's trying to go to Kentucky) when you have dementia. I am afraid for his safety!

“UPDATE MONDAY 10:56 a.m.: Detectives are continuing their investigation into missing endangered adult, Mr. Charles Rowley. At this time, it has been confirmed Mr. Rowley spent the night at a hotel in Perry, Georgia. Detectives are working with local law enforcement as well as Georgia State Patrol to locate Mr. Rowley as he left the hotel prior to law enforcement’s arrival. Thank you to all who continue sharing his photo and information.”

Maybe he’s just driving to his home up north? I would think he might be found if someone posted his car and last location on CB Radios for Truck Drivers.
