I'm not sure if they're going to even stream. They mentioned in a broadcast earlier that they would have the latest at the 2 pm police briefing but I am not receiving a stream from either of these channels.

It's awfully quiet, sometimes that means something is happening. LE tends to put the squash on the media releases when something is about to break.

They did not stream. I did find this from a few hours ago though (before they found out about the shovel & tape). Check out this video. It's a 5 minute interview with Christian's dad.

Live at 5 pm at actionnewsjax is what I jsut heard. But there IS a briefing going on right now. It's just not being streamed.

According to the fb pg, Miami/Dade LE may be going to Gainesville to help in the search.

Coldpizza, thank you so much for the revised map. I think Pedro was trying to throw LE off the trail when he said he left Christian in the Motorsports parking lot. The Best Buy is not far from where Pedro lives. I think he left Christian closer to home.

Paynes Prairie, which a couple of posters familiar with the area have suggested, seems a likely location. There is also a large lake, Newman's Lake and conservation area just NE of there. Also looks like a lot of small lakes and wooded areas between Hwy 75 and Hwy 20. Are any of these on a bus route?

That's the location I originally thought of too. Paynes prairie and newman's lake. I don't think there are any bus routes out that far. At least I don't remember there being any--especially not at 8:00 pm when there are limited routes for night buses.

If there is a vehicle missing, I'd be looking at those lakes for tracks going in perhaps? Flyovers can work well for this sometimes.
