I'm not sure it's her religion. That article is the only outlet making reference to it and doesn't have any direct quotes from LE. Other outlets are still reporting motive unknown.

Yes, and this particular Santa Monica Observer reporter posted a photo of a different but similar-looking singer in his initial article about the shooting. Not accurate or detail-oriented! This is a free, weekly newspaper. That doesn't mean it's always wrong, but in this case the reporter is making a huge, unsubstantiated leap.

I read that he was an obsessed fan and that shooting himself was not his original plan, he intended to escape but being tackled by Christina's brother put an end to that. What a coward. Rot in hell.

I will track down the article where I read this info. Everything about this sad event went quiet after the attack on Pulse nightclub.

they also said something like "he had plans to be driving home" but im not sure how they established that.

Cab came to the hotel to pick him up after he was already dead. So he arranged for whatever reason for a cab to pick him up.
