October 2009:

Titusville police said Mcintyre tried to smother the child earlier this month, even using the baby's 2-year-old brother for added weight, but changed her mind and called 911 for help...
About a week later, on Oct. 15, the state Department of Children and Families reported Mcintyre to police, claiming that during tests for apnea at several hospitals in Central Florida, doctors determined the child was fine and his mother was the cause of breathing problems or fabricated them.
In one procedure that was being videotaped, police said, Mcintyre interfered with the tests and then reported an apnea episode..
Police said Mcintyre also admitted she exaggerated and fabricated the apnea incidents to doctors and hospitals as a cover for his breathing difficulties. She said she was afraid her children would be taken away, police said.
Medical records show he had four doctor appointments and three hospitalizations since Sept. 21 regarding apnea, police said. He also had numerous invasive tests, which prosecutors say amounted to aggravated child abuse.
