Finding Cieha

Today’s post thanked everyone for their support & prayers. It then went into explaining how tiresome it is to answer the same questions over & over again. So the page asked visitors to read the June 16 post because it included the FACTS surrounding Cieha’s case & info in which they are able to share.

JUNE 16
(PLEASE KEEP IN MIND CIEHAS CASE IS STILL AN OPEN INVESTIGATION)

FACTS
•Thur, Feb 6,2020 @ 4pm Cieha dropped her boyfriend off at his friend’s house off Cowart and Trapnell Rd.
•Supposedly the only persons that saw her were her boyfriend and his friend.
•They have been interviewed multiple times by detectives.
•have been told that he (assume boyfriend) is not a suspect and his story pans out.
•Thur, Feb 6, 2020 around 7pm Cieha’s car was found running abandoned on the train tracks less then a mile from her boyfriend’s friend’s home.
•The driver’s side door was open.
•Her phone was found on the ground next to the car on the train tracks.
•A Plant City Police officer came on the scene.
•License plate WAS NOT RAN by the officer.
•The officer got in her vehicle and moved her car with her belongings ( her purse, ID, debit card) inside to the side of the road and locked the door.
•The detective WILL NOT release the name of the officer that moved the vehicle
•From Feb 6-9, family tried reaching out to Cieha & her friends, unaware her car was beside the tracks.
•Feb 9 a family friend spotted her car where the officer left it.
•A missing person’s report was filed
•The Hillsborough County sheriffs office, Cieha’s family and homeland security have done several searches.
•20 days later on Feb 26 her shoes were found located not too far from her car next to a light pole that had her picture on it attached to a missing persons flyer. They were not there prior to this.

•Ciehas story has been covered by all local news stations & surrounding areas
•reached out to any and all missing persons groups; reached out to Human Sex Trafficking
•have called the state attorney’s office and nothing came of that
•contacted multiple shows & podcasts such as Nancy Grace & Dr Phil
•reached out to the FBI who has stated they will not get involved unless asked directly by LE
•Hillsbrough County sheriffs office has shared they have all the resources as the FBI and there’s no need to get them involved. They have not and are not planning to contact the FBI.

•As of June 16, still have not received any updates or leads on Cieha’s case. We are continually told her case is open and ongoing.

I would like to bring up a scenario where Cieha was taken out of her car. Where her car was found, could this have been a meeting place for a transaction? Something went wrong and she was taken from her car? This lead her phone to be dropped outside the car. In this scenario it is very likely that there is a connection between Cieha and the perpetrator. Is there anybody from her (drugs/ criminal) past that can be connected to her disappearance? Is there anybody that heard rumors, stories or bragging related to somebody connected to her. Do you see someone (loosely) connected to her that shows sudden changes in behavior, a big increase in drinking or using? If so, please go to the police with your story. It is so important to step forward. You can also tip anonymously: tip411 - Tips .To me the shoes still indicate that the perpetrator knew her, otherwise you would not take that effort.

I’ve wondered for awhile now about her possibly being snatched from the car.
The only reasons I can think of that would cause Cieha to stop on the tracks like she did would be:
a) she parked it there before voluntarily going missing (I don’t feel this is the case. Why leave your car that close to where you dropped your bf off, why on tracks, & why leave stuff in running car?)

b) she was driving over the tracks when she came upon someone possibly she didn’t even know & stopped...possibly because she was made to or thought the person needed help of some sort.

c)she was driving over tracks when she came upon someone she knew or to meet someone she knew, so she stopped.

b or c scenario could have resulted in events not going as expected or planned. Cieha may have been snatched out of the vehicle or started arguing with the person as she got out of the car, all of this happening so fast causing her to drop her phone and whomever was there wasn’t thinking about turning off the car, etc but instead just getting out of there.

or it could possibly be scenario d= NONE OF THE ABOVE.

Good for them holding those accountable and brining attention to their missing family.

Families of missing women protest at sheriff’s office

They’ve teamed up with the family of Cieha Taylor. A Plant City woman who went missing weeks later. Her car was found abandoned, unlocked, and running near railroad tracks.

“They dropped the ball from the get-go. For both cases. Nobody is wanting to talk to us. Nobody is giving us answers. Nobody is doing anything for us,” claims Delgado.

The sheriff’s office tells 8 On Your Side’s Marco Villarreal they have a project in the works to get more information out about the disappearance of Veronica Reyes-Diaz and Cieha Taylor.

This is a very bizarre and troubling case. According to Google, sunset in Plant City on Feb. 6 was 6:12 PM. So it would have still been light out when she went to the boyfriend's friend's house and most likely when her car was left on the tracks. It would have been dark by the time the cop found it around 7 and moved it. But if it was dumped on the tracks by someone else (which IMO I believe it was), it wouldn't have been dark yet, unless they dumped it after like 630 and very near to the time the cop found it.

I do not see this being a case where she went off on her own. The main reason I say this is the shoes placed three weeks later. I guess the question for me is whether it was someone known to her or if she was intercepted by someone somehow after leaving the boyfriend's friend's house. MOO

That area is really desolate and rural, you could dump a car in broad daylight and no one would see you and if they did, they probably wouldn't question why you were there.

Not all that desolate, with houses all along, and the farm right there.

A few of my thoughts, in no particular order;
*Pulled over by the police and freaking out, stopping on the tracks?
*Pulled over by the police (possibly after being seen leaving a place of interest to LE), not stopping on the tracks, but said to be, adding mystery to the disappearance.
*Not in the car at all, it was dumped there by someone who trotted down the tracks to a nearby residence.

The adamant refusal to provide the name of the LEO alleged to move the car, gives me more reason to believe undercover/vice/narc was involved. Minimal paperwork, low accountability, questionable methods, aggressive tactics in stopping vehicles, ad nauseam. Saw it personally from my uniform. FOIA requests would be flying at the Dept if I was involved.

Any of those theories are possible! Thanks for sharing.

I’m not sure exactly why I feel this way, but for some reason I don’t believe the officer had a part in her disappearance. I do believe he was negligent in the fact that he did not investigate more once he came upon her car.
His reason for not running her tags, etc? Not sure. It may have been he was in a “hurry”, a rookie, just didn’t want to be bothered with it, or possibly a break in communication somewhere??
Of course, none of those reasons justify the officer moving her car, locking it, and leaving it there!!

I think they aren’t sharing information/details on it due to the department investigating the incident.
Of course, all of this is just MOO & I could be way off.

I’m going to have to go back and look, but does anyone recall if the officer that came upon her car a county deputy or a city police officer?

In this article it says "Hillsborough detectives" and "Deputies" so not sure but I'd say county not city?

Family searches for Dade City woman gone missing in Plant City

Hillsborough detectives came out four days later after family called for help.

“The friend found the vehicle, reached out to my mother-in-law, ‘hey. Anything weird with Cieha? Have you talked to her? Her car was just found abandoned on the side of the road,'” recalls Porshia.

Deputies have questioned the last person to have seen the 28-year-old; her boyfriend, but as of right now they have no leads.

I wonder if the area in which Cieha’s car was found located is in the city limits of Plant City or if it’s considered county jurisdiction?

I’m going to do some research for Cieha’s case

Outside the city limits, but Plant City PD officer... Doesn't say if on duty, out of jurisdiction on PB or work.
