According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Lance Rachel Sr., 42, became angry over a missing couch cushion and accused the victim of lying.

Deputies say the child was hit over 50 times with a belt, choked and verbally abused. Rachel also threatened to break the victim’s jaw, officials said.

victim is apparently 12 years old and the beating went on for a period of approximately 30 minutes. :(

Lance Rachel took out a belt and hit the boy more than 50 times, according to cops. He also allegedly choked the victim and called him “several disparaging names” and shouted other obscenities. Some of the names included “‘b—-, p—-, n—–, f—ing b—-, d— sucker’ and even at one point told him to ‘suck d–k’ while taking both of his hands and hitting it against his crotch,” the affidavit said.

He also allegedly threatened to break the boy’s jaw and told him he was not allowed to sleep in a bed.

Police said home surveillance cameras even captured one moment where Rachel Sr. threatened to ‘break the victim’s jaw’ during the frightening attack.

A couch cushion??? WTH? Of all the stupid things to get angry over. Poor kid. I am glad to read he’s in a safe place. Hopefully these two will never be allowed around children ever again!

Some people just look for any excuse to be abusive and violent. Doesn't matter what the reason is.
IMO.

any word on what happened in this case? Kimberly is actively posting selfies on her FB account looking as if she hasn't got a care in the world, which annoys me to no end.

I hope the boy is somewhere safe and doing okay.
