FL FL - Cynthia Gooding, 16, & Teresa Alfonso, 12, Marathon, 3 Sept 1974

  • #81
Terry is/was my half sister. I never got to meet her. It's funny that without realizing it last year I posted about her and how this case can't go unsolved forever on the anniversary of her disappearance, and so did my brother and neither of us knew it was the date or that the other had done so

So you say you never saw them leave the theater? Then he says they were seen talking to a man in the parking lot?...
I think it's pretty clear that they hitchhiked to the party they were going to and ran into foul play or Cynthia possibly convinced Teresa to "run away" or go on an adventure and ran into foul play or the man in the parking lot....It is suspicious that the police have no files on the case, if there had been a fire in the police station...at least there would have been an article in the local news about the fire. What is the local police station trying to cover up? One wonders....

If I'm reading this thread correctly, none of the self-proclaimed family members throughout the thread were ever verified...which would make sense if it wasn't always required. But I noticed that Cynthia's sister referred to her as both "Cindi" and then later "Cindy"...then disappeared after Teresa's sister made one comment and then also disappeared. Perhaps they took it offline or just no longer comment.

Either way, bump for these girls.
