She fractured her left femur and pelvis in a car accident, and has a steel rod in her femur with a resulting surgical scar on her leg.

Woolard was last seen at a bar in Cape Coral, Florida on February 1, 1979. She has never been heard from again. She left her paycheck and purse at her home on Pine Island.

Woolard was a nursing student at the time of her disappearance. She had been fighting with her husband. Her case remains unsolved.

Cynthia was last seen at a bar in Cape Coral. She left her paycheck and purse at her home on Pine Island. She was studying to be a nurse at the time. She had been fighting with her husband at the time of her disappearance.

Age at Time of Disappearance: 22 years old
Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'2-5'4"; 125-130 lbs.
Characteristics: White female. Shoulder length blond hair; blue eyes.
Marks, Scars: Left leg is 3/4 inch shorter than the right as a result of a car accident. She wore a special shoe with a lift in it to even her legs out. Had a steel rod in her left femur from a car accident. Scar on left arm from fracture in a car accident. Pelvis was broken in same accident.

I do not see anything about DNA or dentals anywhere unless I’ve just missed it.

There’s a person with her husband’s name still in the area. No idea if that is him. Where was/is her family from? Any relatives around that could provide DNA?

Pine Island was mainly a fishing community years ago and I’m sure wasn’t very populated in the late 70’s.

Plenty of backpackers came to the US to join in the hippie movement in the late sixties and early seventies. I had a friend whose sister backpacked all over Europe and then on the hippie trail to Asia and she turned up in the US while they thought she was in Asia.
